Charlotte May pushed open the door leading to the high school's main hallway.

Another day in hell. She thought, letting out a sigh. Charlotte made her way through the semi crowded halls to get to her locker. She spun the dial on her locker and pulled it open.

"Hey, Charlotte." The blonde rolled her eyes, tossing her books in her locker and slamming the locker door shut.

"How can I help you, Jason?" She asked, sarcastically rolling her eyes.

"Easy, babe. I just came to see if you were free this Friday." Jason smirked cockily, leaning against the lockers beside Charlotte.

"I'm free, but I've got better things to fill my schedule with." She said, flipping her curled hair over her shoulder. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to find my best friend and plan something fun for Friday."

Charlotte sent Jason a bright smile and strut down the hall to her best friend, Amelia Drake.

"Amelia!" Charlotte grinned, pulling her beautiful best friend into a hug.

"Hey Char." Amelia smiled looking down at Charlotte's outfit; black skinny jeans, a white v-neck, and black heels. Charlotte's curly blonde hair was pulled into a half up, half down ponytail, and her makeup was done in neutral tones. The outfit was pulled together with a black purse with an adorable bow on it.

"You look amazing!" Amelia gawked.

"So do you!" Charlotte said, looking down at Amelia's outfit. She was wearing a black and pink dress with a black leather jacket thrown over it. Her long brown hair was up in a messy bun, with a pink ribbon tied in it. She was wearing black flats, and was carrying a beautiful black handbag.

"Are you as excited for the last week of school as I am?" Amelia asked, making her way towards her classroom.

"Yes. One more week and we're officially free from school!" Charlotte giggled.

"One more week and you're free from school. Not all of us have the connections your parents have." Amelia groaned. She pushed open the classroom door and led Charlotte to their seats.

"My parents would gladly offer you a spot in their staff, they love you as if you were their own." Charlotte claimed, sitting at her desk.

"I don't think my parents would approve a job offer from anyone without me getting my degree first." Amelia groaned, placing her head in her hands.

"Last week of school, and the counselors still can't situate schedules." A dark haired stranger stepped into the classroom, quieting all the hushed gossip in the room.

He stood in front of the classroom, chatting with the teacher about his schedule. The dark haired stranger radiated confidence, making all the guys in the classroom feel uneasy. The stranger also radiated something that appealed to Charlotte. He radiated an air of dominance that caused Charlotte to look up from her desk and stare at the stranger.

"Well, Dylan, just take a seat next to Charlotte." Mr. Fitz said, pointing to the empty desk next to Charlotte. The dark haired stranger turned and gave Charlotte a smirk. His blue eyes shone with confidence as he strode over to his new desk.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked, smirking at Charlotte.

Short, I know. I just wanted to get the ball rolling, and a short beginning seemed perfect. The chapters will be longer after this, I promise.
