"Okay, if you need me, call me. I'll stay close." Ben said, pulling up to the school.
"Okay, I think we got it." I laughed. Adam rushed out of the car to his awaiting friends. I was about to push my door open and walk into the school but Ben pulled me back.
"I wanted this to be different." He whispers, before planting his lips on mine. I kissed back softly, before pulling away.
"I have to go." I breathed, feeling a smile creep onto my face.
"Hurry back." He grinned. I giggled and pushed open my door. I sent him another smile and closed the door. I started walking towards the building, and just before I could open the door, Ben honked. I jumped and looked over my shoulder at him. He was grinning from ear to ear as he rolled down the passenger window.
"Have a great day Charlotte!" And then he sped off campus. I rolled my eyes and walked into the building.
"Okay, who was that and why did he drop you and your brother off?" Amelia asked, attaching herself to my side.
"That's my, uh, friend, Ben." I stuttered, feeling my face flush.
"Your blush and the way he kissed you in his car says he's more than your friend." She grinned, poking my side.
"It's really hard to even attempt to explain." I sighed, walking to my locker.
"No, you don't get off that easy! You're going to give me an explanation." She said. I pulled out my notebook and started off towards class.
"I have all day, literally, to pester you about this Ben guy." She said, pulling open the classroom door. We got to our seats and I turned to Dylan.
"Dylan." I whined. He looked up from his phone and grinned at me.
"Yes, Char?" He asked with a knowing grin.
"Can you help me explain to Amelia the situation with Ben?" I asked, blinking slowly at him. He sighed and placed his phone on his desk.
"Ben likes Charlotte, Charlotte likes Ben. Ben hasn't asked Charlotte out yet, but he's working on it." Dylan winked, causing me to blush.
"That wasn't hard to explain at all. That's actually adorable." Amelia squealed. She spent the rest of the day pestering me with questions about Ben that I just brushed off.

"Can I meet him?" Amelia asked, following me out of the school.
"Sure, but don't say anything to embarrass me." I said, pointing my finger at her.
"Okay. I won't say a thing." She said, pantomiming zipping her mouth shut.
"Oka-" I was cut off by arms being wrapped around my waist. I squealed as I was lifted in the air.
"How was school?" Ben asked, leaning down by my ear.
"It was fine, other than Amelia bothering me all day." I said, playfully glaring at her. Ben placed me back on my feet and smiled down at Amelia.
"Hey, I'm Ben."
"I'm Amelia, but you can call me yours." She sighed, obviously swooning over Ben. I slapped her bare arm hard and watched her rip her dreamy gaze from Ben to give me a harsh glare.
"What was that for?" She huffed, rubbing where I slapped her.
"First of all, you said you wouldn't embarrass me. Second of all, don't flirt with him." I said, hugging Ben. He wrapped an arm around me and chuckled.
"Easy, babe. I'm all yours." He whispered in my ear. I blushed bright red and buried my face in his side.
"But Charlotte, didn't anyone ever tell you that sharing is caring?" Amelia whined.
