Gabe glanced back at the ten year old girl that him and Dean adopted, and smiled brightly.
Raven was very shy. She didn't talk much. She had long, black hair and brown eyes.
Gabe and Raven had made eye contact, and Gabe smiled at her. She smiled back a bit before looking away.
Gabe turned and faced forward again, smiling brightly.
Raven looked at the back of Dean and Gabe's heads and actually smiled happily.
She didn't know these two well enough yet, but she felt as if they would protect her.
Well, she hoped they would protect her.
