i pay the taxi driver the money and walk into the hospital. i love visiting my sister! i walk upstairs to her room. shes sleeping. i get up and i start to talk to the nurse.

"how is she doing today" i ask

"fine" she says

"joey, joey!" i hear her voice calling my name

"claire!" i say while running into the room

i hug her.

"i missed you joey" she said

"i missed you too claire" i say

we both just continue to hug.

"how are you feeling" i ask

"very tired and not feeling good, can u ask the nurse for more medicine" she asked

"ok ill be right back" i say 

i walk through a couple of hallways until i find her nurse.

"hey nurse geralds" i said

"hey joey, back again i see?" she says with a chuckle

"yea, my sister wants to-" i say before i get cut off by the walkie talkie.

"we have a problem in 315" she says

"THATS MY SISTERS ROOM" i say 

we both run to her room. then we find all of her nurses surrounding her.

"death time, 2:12 P.M." he said

i was shocked. i didnt even know what to do, but then i started to cry. i was hysterical.

"i-i cant do th-this" i say while crying

"aw sweety come here" she says while giving me a hug

"wh-whos go-going to do the fu-funeral" i ask while crying still

the government will help you out dont worry sweety, i know its hard to loose someone you loved but you have to think of all the positive things" nurse geralds says

i didnt even hear what she said. i couldnt believe that she was gone, my only family left, gone. i loved her so much, i dint even get to tell her that before she died. i wanted my last words to be "i love you claire" not "ok ill be right back". i hate this so much. she didnt deserve to die. i am still hysterically cryinh.

"i know we cant get in touch with your mom or your dad sweety but is there anyone else we can call to take you in" she asked

"n-no" i said while trying to whip my tears

"well, there is more bad news, we will have to put you in a adoption center until you could find a family" she said

"WHAT" i said

*TWO DAYS LATER*

Today is the day, i say to myself while trying to put my tie on. i goes to the funeral home and they are a bunch of people waiting in line crying they're eyes out waiting for me to say they're condolences.

"I'm so sorry for your loss", this random in her 20s girl came up to me and said this.

"Thank you" i say

who was she, she was the only one i didnt know. her voice sounded very familiar.

"how did you know my sister?" i asked her before she left

She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me right to the main part of the funeral home.

she takes off her sunglasses and her scarf over her head.

"i am ariana grande. i came because your sister has been messaging for months. she was saying how she has cancer and has not a lot of time left. she said that she wanted to meet me in the hospital and she wanted me to see you too. so i went to the hospital today and she told me the news. i felt so bad so i asked where the funeral was held and they told me the address. thats how i am here now and i just wanted to say my condolences and leave because i didnt want to cause a lot of attention." says Ariana

I COULDNT BELIEVE IT ARIANA GRANDE WAS TALKING TO ME!!!!! i have to act cool tho, what should i say? ooo, i know what to do.

i hugged her.

"thank you so much for coming, you are the best" i say

after that ariana gave me her phone number to keep in contact. but she told me to never tell anyone it. i promised her i wouldnt. tomorrow would be my first day at the adoption centerm, this will suck.
