The Only Loss-Harmony's Story: Book 1

Chapter 3: Harmony Is With Me

Luna flew through the window to her bedroom. She crash landed on her bed and did a barrel roll as she fell over the bed.

"Ow," she stood as she rubbed her head.

"I got to find HARMONY!!!!" Luna rushed out of her room with a blanket tangled around her flank. As she moved down the halls she, her magic lifted the blanket off of her.

She charged through the halls. What time is it!! Luna though to herself.

She rounded a corner and bumped into Domino Duster.

"Luna!" Domino shrieked startled. She rose onto her hind legs and landed again, "You know you don't just go roaming around the castle during the day. And you shouldn't do it during the day either. These halls aren't big enough for you to go running in every pony!"

Luna didn't look fazed, "Do you know where Harmony is?"

Domino rolled her eyes staring at the begging like filly in front of her. She pointed dow the hall towards the dining room.

"She's in the dining room,"

"THANKS!!" Luna screamed as she quickly hugged her nanny and dashed past her.

"Be careful in these HALLS!!" Domino Duster shouted after her.

Luna continued on her search for her little sis. She charge into the dining room like it was barricaded.

She tumbled through and accidentally flapped her wings. Luna landed on the table with a thud.

"See I told you she would come back!" Harmony exclaimed.

Luna lifted her head to see she landed before the filly she'd been looking for.

Luna let out a single breath.

Celestia just stared. Then a giggle came from her. This was confusing to Luna because most of all the time Celestia acted very formal with castle employees around.

Luna gets off the table laughing with her dear sisters. They laugh while White Swirl, a chef, brings the girls their porridge.

They eat in silence. As most days they barely talk about anything as if they weren't a family and didn't know each other.

Harmony decided she had enough of this, "How can you two be sisters yet not even act like you know each other? I don't understand why you two have to have a hard time getting along. What would you girls do with out me?"

Luna and Celestia glance at each other. Then they looked at Harmony then back at each other.

The 2 started laughing as hard as they could. Harmony smiles because she made her sisters laugh.

"Domino? Can we please go on an adventure in the Ever Free forest?! I mean it is surrounding us at all angles!" Harmony begged her's and her sister's nanny. 

DD sighed like she's given up. She nods and walks away.

Luna and harmony do a 'YES!' motion with there arms.The two fillies fly out of the castle even though Harmony needs to hang onto Luna's tail to help her stay in flight.

The two land in a huge meadow in the Ever Free Forest.

The two fillies wander around the meadow looking at the grass and bugs on the ground beneath them.

"Isn't the Ever Free Forest beautiful!?" Harmony exclaimed.She was super excited to be out of the castle again, even if she wasn't meeting new ponies.

Luna nodded with the same enthusiasm as her sister.

They  wander about the meadow some more. The two decided to enter the forest. They gallop around chasing each other. 

"I wish this day would never end!" Harmony screamed while she was running. Her eyes where closed and her head was turned to Luna. Luna chased her. She opened her eyes and froze.

"HARMONY!"
