As Luna sat at that table eating pie, the mare and the stallion stared at her.

"So!" Cotton Wood stared, "What brings you to our humble little home?!"

That brought Luna back to Equestria. She shook her head then looked back at the couple. "Uh, yay. Um... I'm looking for some planks or logs for a tree house,"

The stallion kept smiling as his wife made some small talk, "Couldn't you of have just sent a massager over and we could just send over some to the castle. I mean it is really simple and easy to do."

Luna just sat there trying to figure out what to say. She opened her moth to say, "Yeah, well, can this meeting be our little secret. I just want to build a tree house in the forest. If that's okay with you."

Spruce just sat there like usual. Cotton nodded listening.

"If you want, we can help you pick out the best ever lasting wood and even help with the building. I mean it would be our pleasure to help such a fine young filly as yourself!" Cotton offered. Luna thought it over for a few moments.

It would be nice if I didn't have to do it myself. But then it wouldn't be a secret tree house then! Well, I did just tell them I was going to build the tree, so I guess I can tell them?! Luna thought to herself.

"Um!"

"Oh, don't worry child. We shall take any secret to our graves," Cotton commented.

Luna nodded to Cotton and her spouse.

Spruce continued his blankly smile as if he was tying to please everyone but was supper uncomfortable.

Luna stood up. Cotton and spruce stood with her.

"Thank you for the delicious pie. It was very good. May we go check out some materials now?" Luna asked the couple.

Spruce snapped out of his trans and replied, "Yes ma'am. Barbra, go get some gloves. We are gonna get our selves some nice dark colored oak."

***

Spruce Wood and Princess Luna walked along rows and rows of different species of wood.

"Here we are, the oak section! Oak is strong and easy to come by. Different types of oak are harder to come by than most. The dark oak branch of the oak tree is one of the rarest branches to come by. We'll look at each and every type if you want, Princess."

"Oh no. We need not, I just want something that can hide itself from my sisters," Luna replied with a slight confusion. She was just a little filly you know.

Spruce nodded and walked down the iel. Little Luna followed close behind. There were huge piles of lumber. Signs with a sample piece of wood were every were.

Luna stared at each type of long as Spruce went on about the differences between each species of oak.

"Well thats all the types. Do you remember one you liked?" Spruce quizzed Luna with his accent.

Luna was still staring towards the way they were walking.

"What kind of wood is that??" she asked pointing to a stack of black lumber.

Spruce turned to see the lumber she was pointing. I guess we could check that kind out if you want. I mean you are a special costumer," Spruce replied

Luna started walking towards the magical looking timber with a glimmer in her eyes. She walked over to the sign and stood in awe. The lumber was even more beautiful up close.

"This here stuff is called Enchanted Black Oak. EBO for short. It is magical stuff and pretty rare to find. It comes from an oak tree that has been homed in by a family of Phenixes. It bakes with the magic of the bird for over a hundred years or so.Then after it is down the tree becomes enchantable. Lots of the olden time wizards liked to build walls and gates out of this stuff." Spruce oned trying to make it sound as interesting as possible.

Luna stood in more awe. "What kind of enchantments are able to be enchanted onto it?" Luna mouthed with out ever moving her eyes from the mystical site.

Spruce put a hoof to his chin and looked toward the sky in a thinking manner, "I believe any spell is possibly, but I'm no unicorn or alicorn so I wouldn't be able to tell ya."

Luna turned to look at the coco colored stallion, "I'll take it."

***

Luna trudged along a mudded path to where she think she remembered were the tree was. Cotton Wood and Spruce Wood followed close behind with carts of EBO timber and building tools.

The three ponies made it to the beautiful tree.

"You found another Enchanted Black Oak!?" Cotton gasped. Her mouth gaped open as she stared at the beautiful tree. Luna gazed at the branches of the black barked oak.

***

Luna watched the couple as they were working on her massive tree house. It was beautiful in every way. The structure blended in perfectly with the forest.

Climbing up the ladder, nailing a few nails down into the boards, then climb back down. This went on over and over again.

After a few hours, that felt like weeks, the tree house was finally coming together. A few more finishing touches here, a few more there were needed, but Luna could do that herself.

"How do you like it, Princess??" Spruce asked in an excited but tired manner.

Luna still stood in awe. She could barely see it from where she was standing. The wood fit in perfectly to the surroundings of the dark forest.

"Oh Spruce can't you see she loves it. I've seen that face a million times before. Even better than she imagined," Cotton comment to her husband.

***

Time passed. The couple left with there pay. Luna stayed and traveled around in her little hut in the trees. It really was fit for a princess. A nightly princess with everything to hide. A get away place for a sorrowful pony. A place of peace. A place of Harmony, but without her.

Then Luna started thinking about her worry some little sister.

"Oh Celestia! I must be late for SOMETHING!!" Luna spread her wings and flew out of the castle. Leaving the beautiful structure behind were no pony would ever find it.
