Riley's POV
I watched as everyone was staring at us after I broke the kiss, and smiled evilly at them.
The bell rung for lunch seconds later, and everyone scattered to the cafeteria.
I helped Maya down and we walked to the cafeteria in comfortable silence.
She didn't seem nervous, anymore, which was great.
As we walked into the large cafeteria, which was filled with screaming and laughing, we went up to the line.
After we got our food, we sat down at the table we always sit.
It was always just me and Alexa, but now Maya sits with us as well.
Alexa is normally first to the table, but she wasn't today.
"Where's Alexa?" Maya asked.
"I don't know, she's usually here before us." I replied, taking a bite of my sandwich.
After about 10 minutes of small talk with Maya, I couldn't help but think about where Alexa was.
I scanned the large cafeteria, hoping to see her somewhere, but only seeing random girls.
I must've been blocking out everything, because soon all the loud noises became blurs to my ears.
I was immediately drawn back to Earth when something flicked my head.
I looked over to see Maya ready to throw a chicken tender right at my face.
"What the fuck?" I asked.
"I've been calling your name for 5 minutes." She replied.
"Sorry, I just don't know where Alexa is and like she's like my best friend a-a-
"Shh." Maya scooted closer and wrapped an arm around me.
"She's fine, she probably got detention or something." Maya whispered.
I nodded and continued eating my food when two tall guys towered over our table.
I looked up and saw Farkle and Lucas standing there with their trays in their hands.
"Can we sit?" Farkle asked.
"No." I said emotionless.
Sure, it was 2 years ago when Farkle told everyone, but if it weren't for him I could be at home right now, watching cartoons.
He peeled my hand off the seat that was placed next to me, so he could sit.
He sat down quick, before I could replace my hand, and Lucas sat next to Maya, which made my heart create a burning feeling, and my jaw clench.
"What?" I snapped.
"Listen, we need you two to meet us at janitors closet tonight at 1:30am." Lucas whispered.
Maya and I looked at each other confused and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Why?" Maya and I both whispered at the same time.
Farkle looked over at Lucas and they both nodded.
"What the fuck is going on?" Maya whispered.
"All I can say, is something strange is happening." Farkle whispered, and the two got up and walked off.
Maya and I looked at each other with a confused look on our face, until she spoke up.
"What the fuck?"
