We found out why folks are panicking. A set of twins, about eight-years-old, went looking for berries hours before and still hadn't returned, their parents are frantic.
Tall Joe organized a search party, just about every able body man is out searching for the twins, including Pa, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Homer, who is Hattie's uncle, Wade even went out. It's nearly midnight and there's still no sign of the twins. Ma, and Mrs. Campbell are keeping their mother company.
I feel sad for them, I can't imagine losing Wade, my own twin.
I wanted to stay up until the search party got back, but I have to go to bed. I'm only going to get a few hours sleep as is before the bugle sounds at 4am signaling the breakfast fires be started and the men to go get the animals gathered up.Don't forget to vote, follow and comment!
