Chapter 58

"Here," Mason hands me a glass of water.

"Thanks" I take it and drink some of it.

"All of it." he says

I bring the icy beverage to my lips and drink the rest.

"Hello!" the Doctor walks in

"Hey" mason says

"We've gotten some test results saying that there is a bit of alcohol in your blood. Did you take this medication with alcohol?"

Mason answers for me, "Yes, she did."

"Okay, well I'm going to prescribe some anredrem to help with the pain that will be coming. And a therapist, have you got one?" He asks looking at me then Mason.

"Not yet, do you know anyone?" Mason asks the Doctor.

"Well, she probably wants a girl-"

"I'm right here." I spat

"My apologies, would you like a girl?" he asks

"Yes. And just because I tried to kill myself, doesn't mean I'm disabled." I say

He looks flustered, "Well I didn't want you to make a bad decision while in the state that you're in."

"Sorry, I'm just, ugh yes please I want a girl." I say rubbing my head

"Okay, well there's Korry Makethef, -"

"What?" I ask sitting up

Mason buts in, "No, any other people? With...different names?" he asks

"Mandy Kelson" he says

"Sounds good" Mason says

The doctor hands Mason the contact information. "Thankyou" He says

"One more thing," the Doctor starts

"You can leave whenever you are ready." He says smiling.

We pick up the girls and get in car.

Mason turns to me. "You could've died."

"I know." I look out the window. As snow starts to fall outside.
