The Land of Stories: Songs

Introduction

Dear Readers-

I remember it like it was yesterday.

The summer before I entered eighth grade, I was at church camp. On the last day, I was sitting with some sixth-grade girls, talking about books. I had mentioned that I enjoyed fantasy books, and one girl piped up, asking if I had read The Land of Stories series by Chris Colfer. I replied that no, I had not read that series.

Soon after, though, I read the first one. Then the second. Then the third.

I was utterly in love.

I just started writing out some of the parts from different points of view, and I was shocked to see that I had come up with the first song of this entire endeavor, 'Goldilocks, Wanted Dead or Alive.'

I thought the idea was genius, so I decided to write one more, 'Once Upon a Time.'

So, kudos to that one girl, and Chris Colfer, and Mary Pope Osborne, alongside the team behind 'Magic Tree House: The Musical,' which was kind of my inspiration for this. Thank you guys!
