Prompt: CreepyThe room was dim, loud, full of people. I ignored the bickering of the other customers and ate my meal in peace. I glanced out the window, to see an empty street with a few street lamps and such. The lamp directly across the street began to flicker, it was off before then. For a brief moment the light stayed on and I saw a figure, standing under the light, then the light went out and the figure disappeared.
I chuckled slightly as that reminded me of a horror movie with a serial killer. But this wasn't a movie, so I wouldn't get murdered. Probably.
I finished my meal and left the restaurant, I began my journey home. As I walked more lights flickered ahead of me, and again, the figure appeared under the lights. I started walking a little faster.
"Hello... Is anyone there?" I called out timidly.
"Shhh..." I heard a voice say
"Wh-who's there?!" I nervously asked
"No one..." The voice said again in a deep, calm, slow manner.
I began sprinting home, trying to get away from whatever was following me. As I ran I looked behind me and saw an empty street. Then, I was stopped by a large figure.
"Shh..." It whispered
I was trembling in fear. A street lamp turned off and the figure vanished into thin air. Is this a dream? I started questioning what was real or not. If I was insane or not. I kept running home, with thoughts and questions filling my head creating fear.
I arrived home to see the figure standing on my porch. This was the end, how could it not be? I stood still with fear and the figure came before me. I was finally able to see the figure, with its red nose, rainbow hair, big shoes. A clown. But this clown was a kids nightmare. This clown was from a movie of sorts. This clown was from a video game, not real life. There was only one way I could think of describing this clown. Creepy.
Aye. I hope you liked this. I wanted to try and base it off all the clown nonsense happening where I live. So... Yeah. Bai.
