yerim didn't know what to do. the police had questioned her on how she discovered seungwan's body the day before, and she had obviously lied. 

"i went to give her the homework. her door was open, i went in, she was hanging there."

lies. they were all lies. her friendship with sooyoung was a lie. her trust with juhyun, seulgi, and seungwan was a lie. her entire life was a lie. lies. lies. lies. 

when yerim asked to go to the girl's bathroom in third period, she was worried. she saw seulgi at school, but after second period, yerim lost seulgi in the crowd. when yerim arrived at the bathroom, seulgi was muffled, bound at the hands, feet, and was held at knifepoint. 

seulgi's face was marred and bloody. there were slashes in random faces on her face, blood flowing from the open wounds. a safety pin needle was stuck in her neck, and her hair had been chopped unevenly. 

sooyoung waved at her from above seulgi. "hi, yerim!" she cheerfully greeted yerim. "it's almost been 18 hours."

"sooyoung, stop. you don't have to hurt seulgi. she didn't even participate that much in your murder," yerim tried to reason. 

"she may have not participated that much in my murder, but she was the worst when it became to bullying. she called me worthless, ugly, dumb. i'm not letting her get away without feeling exactly what she called me- worthless, ugly, and dumb."

yerim's phone alarm rang, and sooyoung plunged the steak knife into seulgi's chest. yerim couldn't bring herself to do anything but cry for her friend, whom she had trusted and relied on. a red flower blossomed on seulgi's white school uniform shirt. 

"yerim, you have 12 hours to say goodbye to juhyun," sooyoung smiled sweetly at yerim and vanished. 

yerim did the only thing she could do in the situation. 

she let out an ear-piercing scream.
