when yerim came back from school, the house was empty - as always. "sooyoung? are you here?" she called into the house. "i need to talk to you."

sooyoung came out from the bathroom. "hey, the house was empty so i just came in." 

yerim nodded in acknowledgement. she and sooyoung were very close, so sooyoung usually just entered her house without her being there sometimes. 

"sooyoung?" yerim called out to her friend as she set down her stuff in her room. 

"yes?"

"why didn't you get caught while getting the algebra test answers?" yerim asked her friend, staring at her. 

"mrs. lim was asleep," sooyoung said. 

it was true. the old teacher was indeed sleeping the entire time they were taking the test, unbeknownst to the students. yerim thought about it for a second and nodded in acknowledgement. 

"okay, i trust you."
