As Chat Noir was fighting the villain he thought Where is Ladybug? It shouldn't take her this long. As Chat finally defeated the villain, he made sure everyone was to safety. As he was running past a dead end, he noticed something, a red glow. He walked closer to the glow and found a crying kwami.
"H...hello? Have you come to help us?"
"What do you mean us?" Chat watched as the little kwami pointed her arm in the direction of the unconscious Marinette.
"She was caught under that huge pile of rock when the fighting began. She's been unconscious the whole time."
"M....Marinette? Oh no.... this....this can't be happening. MARINETTE!!" Chat yelled in pain.
Chat ran over to what he could see of Marinette, all it was was her hand, and it was covered in blood. Chat quickly started to move some of the rock and stone to find his love. Then, when he found her face, he couldn't believe his eyes. It was all covered in dust, gravel and blood. He started to move all the rock off her lifeless body and began to cry in pain.

"NOOO! Marinette. I...I should have been there for you. I'm...i'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault Chat Noir. I'm sure...."
"SHUT UP!! IT IS ALL MY FAULT!! I....I should have been here...to...to protect her."
"I'm sorry." Tikki apologized as she flew away to Marinette's house to hide and feel sorry. She watched Marinette get crushed and did nothing about it.
"(sniff) Marinette PLEASE, please wake up! I'm right here for you, just, please.... please don't leave me OK? Stay here with me, please, stay with me."
Chat Noir cupped his hands around her bloody face and kissed her forehead. As he rocked back and forth with her in his lap, he cried and waited for his Princess to awaken.....But she never did.
Chat got up from his knees and picked up Marinette bridal style. As he watched her head lifelessly fall back he carefully picked up her broken legs, brushed off the dust from her torn clothes and started to carry her to the hospital.
"MEDIC I NEED A MEDIC! Please help her, she....she doesn't deserve this.' Chat shouted to a nurse as they brought out a bed and wheeled her into a hospital room. Chat watched in pain as blood dripped off her hand that was hanging over the edge. Chat thought about him being to late and Marinette being gone, gone forever. He couldn't stand that pain, a life without her, just wasn't a life anymore.
