Later that night, Marinette's parents were with her and holding her hands. Then all of a sudden Marinette started to grip her parents hands.
"! Marinette? Are you awake sweetie?" Her mum asked in shock.
Just as that happened, Marinette suddenly gasped and sat up coughing.
"What.....what happened? Where is Chat Noir?''
"Oh darling, he's....well.....he's gone." Just as her dad said this the news came on TV.
"People of Paris, we are in great danger. There is a new villain on a killing spree by the name of Chat Blanc. If you come upon a 15 year old boy in a white suit, a scythe and blood red eyes, here my warning, RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! Oh no here he comes!"
"Oh good, the news is on. Hello Paris, this is your new ruler speaking, Hawkmoth is now dead there is know reason to be scared any more, except of ME. If your out there Ladybug, no one can save you now! HA HA HA HA!"
As Chat Blanc said this he killed the news reporter and the video camera guy. Marinette watched in pain as the TV went blurry.
"That is not the Chat i know and love."
"We know dear, but what can you do? He will probable kill you for all we know!"
"I know mum, but i have to try. Can i go in the morning?" Marinette asked with wide and pleading eyes.
"We will see what we can do sweetie."
"Goodnight mum, goodnight dad."
"Goodnight, sleep well Marinette."
As Marinette watched her parents leave to room Marinette was up thinking about Chat, how could this have happened? Marinette was confused and scared. What if she could never get him back? What about all the lives he had took, she could never repay their families.
Just as Marinette started to cry, she heard a tiny voice, then a red glow.
"It's Ok Marinette, we can save him."
"TIKKI! I'm so glad to see you! What happened?"
As Tikki explained the whole story Marinette couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"OMG! Did...did that really happen? Tikki, i'm so sorry."
"It's Ok Marinette, we can still save Pairs! Well.....whats left of it."
"Gee thanks Tikki for making it a whole lot worse!"
Marinette started to close her eyes and fell asleep. Knowing that in the morinig she would be able to save Chat, but knowing she could die from it. But she realized it was all for the sake of her one true love.
