The beginning

As the summer holiday is coming to end and school coming near students had mixed feelings some were annoyed and want it to last longer.Some other were excited and nervous . Among those Yein was disappointed that she didn't spend her time so wisely this summer think that she will be busy since she will be in high school now. She was nervous every-time she thought of going to a new school. But she had her close friend there so she felt a little safe.
Holiday was almost over and students were getting ready to get back to school.

Yein POV

New school, new uniform, new teachers, new people, new classmates, and new friends. This year like every other year will go by studying and even more this year.
" ugh why time goes so fast " I groaned " but school will be more fun since jeongie will be with me " I laughed as I remembered that .

- Skip time -

" It feels like yesterday when holiday started but here I am walking my way to school time goes really fast it goes really fast aigoo " I heard sujeong mumbling next to me
I laughed as I look at her " as usually the lazy jeongie I can't believe you will graduate soon " I said to her .
" Graduate my ass there is still this year and another " she said with that we reached school and she helped me find my way to class .

One week went by then one month with us being busy with our studies.
" Have you heard our school won again in basketball yesterday against the other school, " one of my friends , yeeun , said .
" wow really they are really amazing !!! " dahyun exclaimed
" what is so amazing about it they win every time nothing new, " I said ,
" you saw it right ? you had training ~" dahyun asked cutely
" no ," I answered
" WHY !?!?!" They both shouted . Thank god we are not in the cafeteria or else this would cause a scene . " What you mean why I had training of course plus I was not interested ," I said that made them shocked but Dahyun said " what we didn't expect that you would watch anyways."

This year was going by smoothly. I spent my time studying having fun with my friends and training. Running would always make me feel nice and clam. But sometimes it was hard and tiring. But well their was nothing special.

- After one year -

Here we are again in school this time the difference is that I am in 2nd year of high school and Sujeong in 3rd year which means she will graduate this year . It is the same this year we started training fast because we will have competitions. This competition is between many schools and it contains many different types of sports. I want to get a good result that will show my hard work.

" Yein-ah let's go out today after school hmm?" Sujeong asked
" I am sorry not today because I have training," I answered guilty
" it's okay then we will go tomorrow okay ? " she questioned brightly
" okay," I answered with a smile .

Today's training is really hard and needs a lot of strength. The teacher told me to run 6 more laps before going home. While running I saw the basketball players coming out to run too . They joined us and the athletic team and basketball team were running together.

Today after school I am going out with sujeong but had to talk my teacher before going to her . When I went I saw all my athletic teammates there. The coach told us that the competition is at 23rd of this month so we have to train more as it's earlier than we expected.

These weeks all the sports team are working hard but one person stand out the most. I don't know why but he was all I have been thinking of these days. His passion and hard work shows a lot.
" ugh stop thinking and eat will you," dahyun said annoyed
" sorry ," I smiled awkwardly.
" Is there something bothering you ?" Yeeun asked worriedly
" no," I said quickly "it is just I am tired ," I added after
" that is why I tell you to not train that much and relax a little ," sujeong said as she came out of nowhere and hit my back . She sat in front of me as Yuju and Jiho sat next to her .
" I missed yesterday's training coach will be really mad at me right?" Yuju asked
" no don't worry you are the best among the female athletes so their is nothing to worry about ," I said in a way to comfort her
" When you and Binne graduate I bet coach will have hard time finding students like you guys but then I am there so he would not be that concerned ," I said jokingly.
" Have you heard Jungkook has rejected three other girls again today ," sujeong said
" yes I feel sorry to those girls," Jiho added .
Unlike usually I did listen to thing about him and would get curious about him a lot . Why I am like this why do I care why just why. But then no answer.

These days I find myself looking at him while training. I take glances at school when no one notices yet try my best to take distance from him. I don't know why but for some reasons I don't want to get near him . And he walks by us I find myself feeling stiff and I can't breathe until he walks past us .

Today I finally found the answer why I am always like this. I know a thing or two about love even if I was never interested in love and never felt it but I learned through movies and dramas I have watched before. And sujeong telling me her love story and repeating how it felt when she was in love with this dude in her school before.

Flashback

I was waiting in the hall way for sujeong to come so we go back home like usual together.I was looking around the hallway then look at my shoes like there was something interesting. When I raised my head and look in front it was like the world was frozen and my heart stopped for a second and then start accelerating like I had ran in the  Olympics with full speed. I am 100% sure I blushed like crazy I broke the eye contact after 5 good seconds and look at my shoes again.
" Hey hey Yein-ah  YAH!!!" Sujeong shout and slap my arm
" When did you come out ? Why did you take so long? " I asked angrily
" yah I was not that late plus why are you so red are you sick ," she said
" no no no " I answered waving my hands quickly
" really you look like you have seen a ghost ," she said " or have you seen your crush or something ," she continued.
I was caught of guard when she said that but pretended that I didn't hear it .

[End of Flashback]

My heart still beats fast when I think about it. Should not let these feelings grow. The thing is he is in 3rd year so he will graduate soon and leave. He doesn't even know me and we never talked before.
But then I have these silly fantasy and imagination about talking to him or if we become friends how will it be. This feeling is love and I can't believe I am in love with someone who I never expected to fall for. Now I believe that love is really unexpected.

Today we will have the last training I have been skipping some class since the competition is around the corner. Saturday and Sunday will have the competition which in two days. Sujeong Dahyun Jiho and Yeeun will come and support me and Yuju.
He has been working harder. I really can't myself from falling hard.
" You have 2 minutes break before we start training again you can drink but don't drink to much, " state Mr.Choi
" Okay, " we answered
" Yein let's go drink are you not thirsty ? " Bennie asked  I nodded since my throats was so dry I couldn't talk.
" Yeinnie  look like you are really working hard huh?" Vernon asked me with a smile
" wasn't I always hard working, " I said full of my self
" look likes you are really full of yourself kiddo," said mingyu with a smirk
" yah quit calling me kiddo," I said angrily
" Hey I am your senior remember," he said ruffling my hair. I removed his hand and glared him.
" Oh Jungkook !" Vernon shouted and look behind me. I almost chocked on my water .
" I have to go or else I will be in trouble," said quickly as I was really nervous I bowed and left no looking at him as I walk pass him instead scratching my cheeks in purpose to hide my red cheeks.
"Yein why did you leave ?" Bennie ask angry at me because I was busy talking to those two and left her behind
" Sorry I didn't mean too ," I answered trying my best calming my heart to stop beating so fast.
" it's okay ," she smiled at me
" stop the chit chat and start training!!" Mr.Choi shouted .
