Aria's POV

The door opened and there was an arrow in my face. My eyes widened.

"Oops, sorry. I thought you were someone else," a girl's voice said and the arrow was lowered and I got a good look at her. She had the same blue eyes as me but her hair was a golden blonde. "Hi I'm Kayla."

"I'm Aria."

"Pleased to met you Aria." a boy came up next to Kayla, with the same blonde hair and blue eyes. "I'm Will, head counselor. Hi Nico. Do we have a new sister?"

"Why else would we be here?" Nico muttered, but Will smiled.

"Sorry, Aria. Your dark hair just threw me off. But you're eyes, they're definitely Dad's."  Great, another way for me to be the odd one out.

"Thanks I guess." Nico snorted quietly at my answer.

"I'll be going now Aria. Have fun with your new siblings."

"Wait! Nico. You never told me. Who's your . . . godly parent?" he smiled creepily.

"Hades." then he walked away. I turned back to Will and Kayla who were still smiling those ridiculously bright smiles that made me feel like I should have sunglasses. They introduce me to Austin, the only other kid in the Apollo cabin and told me that in the summer there was a lot more campers but since it was the school year, most kids weren't at camp, or even if they were, they still went to school in New York. I was a little bummed out I didn't get to meet the rest of my siblings, but at least I wasn't overwhelmed. Will, being the head of the cabin, offered to show me around camp before breakfast, and I agreed. I saw the Arena, the Armory, the Pegasus Stables, the Strawberry Fields and the Forge before a horn blew signaling breakfast. There were probably near thirty kids but Kayla said that at the end of the summer they had had about ninety, and more, like me, kept coming every week, and that next summer the camp would filled to the maximum. After breakfast Kayla showed me everything else and explained any questions I had.

Later, after lunch, I was given free time to explore. I looked for Nico but couldn't find him and nobody answered when I knocked on the door. So I went back to the big house to find Chiron talking to a girl with curly blonde hair. I was wondering if she was another half-sibling but when she turned I saw her grey eyes and just knew she wasn't.

"A new camper?" she asked when she saw me.

"I'm Aria. Daughter of Apollo." her stare was fierce and a bit disconcerting.

"Annabeth. Welcome. So Chiron, I'll see you later. Hopefully with a new camper." the girl walked away.

"What can I do for you child?"Chiron asked, in his wheelchair form.

"I was wondering if I would ever get my stuff back? My clothes, my guitar, my bow, my music-"

"Of course. In fact, if you check your cabin they might be there now." so I did and they were.

"Huh. Whatever."

Annabeth returned later with a girl and one of those half goat creatures I had learned were satyrs. The girl looked to be in shock. Obviously this was her first day as a demigod too, so, as we were in the same boat, I decided to say hello.

"Hi." I said.

"Hi. Are you . . . ?"

"A demigod? Yeah."

"Oh. Um. Who's your . . . ?" she seemed pretty uncomfortable.

"Apollo. Do you know yours yet?"

"No-" a glowing silver image of a owl appeared above her head like the sun and leer had appeared over mine.

"Daughter of Athena. Thought I was getting a new sister when I met you. And just because of your eyes. You're smart kid."

"Thanks." she blushed and suddenly became more confident.

"Would you like me to give you the tour? I'm the head counselor of the Athena cabin."

"I can show her around." I volunteered and turned to the girl, "I just arrived today but anything I'm not sure about we can figure out together." okay so I admit, I was being a lot friendlier than usual but something about that camp, I swear. Chiron doesn't believe me and thinks I'm using it as an excuse when I aim sunlight into people's windows to wake them up. But anyways . . .

"Sure." I could tell she liked that she wasn't the only newbie.

"Alright then." Annabeth said sounding a bit surprised, "Well Athena's cabin is cabin 6. I'll be there if you want to ask any questions."  and with that she walked away.

"Jezelle. Do you want me to come with you?" the satyr asked.

"Um . . . " she glanced at his goat legs.

"She's probably just getting used to all this mythology stuff. We'll look for you after we look around some." I said, hoping he understood what I meant and wasn't offended.

"Yeah, but Darian. What are you going to tell Lauren?"

"I'm not going back to the school."

"What?! But she'll freak out! She'll probably call the cops!"

"You can always call her." I suggested.

"But Annabeth said demigods aren't suppose to use technology."

"Really? I thought that was more of a suggestion."

"No-oh. Uh . . ." she let out a small laugh and I grinned at her.

"Come on. I have a feeling we'll end up friends. And that is not my gift of prophecy speaking."

"You have the gift of prophecy?"

"No, not really. Small things once in awhile. I've got more of my dad's artistic talents, like music and writing."

"Is it weird? Having two parents? I mean I only grew up with my dad."

"Actually I counted myself an orphan until this morning."

"Oh sorry." I appreciated how she said it. Short and simple.

"Of course Chiron's my legal guardian so I guess you could say I have two parents. And yes it's weird having two parents, especially when one's a centaur and the other a god." she laughed and I smiled. Maybe this new life wouldn't be so bad.

I met Sam a week later. Jez (what I call Jezelle) and I were trying to sneak into the big house to the phone, which now I know if we asked Chiron would've let us but hey, we didn't know at the time! Anyways, he showed us how to pick and lock and bam. Instant best friends. And yes, in case you were wondering, he is a son of Hermes.

I think it was a week after that Chiron called me to the big house. I was freaking out because I thought I was in trouble for drying up the Demeter's cabin's roof. Turns out I had more to worry about.

"You called?" I asked worriedly.

"You're going on a quest."  Oh.

Only the first seven chapters have been edited so if things don't make sense, it's because I haven't edited them yet. Thanks!

*Okay so I'm busying editing and the first four were pretty easy to edit, considering all the rest. So things really aren't going to make sense and I'm really sorry about that. Just try to bear with me.
