13) Aria's POV

Aria's POV

 

I ran back to the hotel. I slipped on a pair of shoe's I'd stolen from the hermes cabin and flew up to the window. Thank fully I practiced with the shoes and was able to steer them well. I knocked on it but they were both sleeping so I pounded. They both sat up and looked around before realizing it was me. They both went over to the window with puzzled looks on their faces. I laughed as Sam opened it for me. I climbed in and took off the shoes and put my other ones back on. "What the Hades were you doing out there girl?" Jez asked. "I went to the beach......and there was Posiedon.....and......he gave me a clue......" I panted out. I sat down on the bed and collasped smiling. "Well that's great! But can you share the information with us?" Jez asked.

Sam sat on the bed with me so I sat up and leaned against him. "The hairbrush is in the Louvre. Most likely with all of the other greek things. But, I'm thinking, since she just lost it, they must have just found it so it'd be new. That probably means more sercurity." I explained. Sam reached into his pockets and pulled out a yoyo, three pens, and candy coin. "Where'd you get those?" I asked. Taking the pen. I took of the cap to find a really pointy tip to a dart or something. "On that one girl. She didn't notice and I was curious. Pretty weird tools right? I mean a yoyo? Then pen its a-" Sam started but Jez cut him off "Sleep dart. You hit me with one didn't you? I remember a pinch then falling asleep" she said. "Yeah. Sorry about that. I test the other while you were asleep. The yoyo's like a climbing thing. Hook it on to something and you and lower yourself down. You'lll be good to go. And it holds a lot of weight. Don't ask me how I figured it out. The coins are explosive. I did have two but the other one exploded our toliet. Don't go in there." he concluded. I nodded.

 

"Sam you have out done yourself. These are amazing! We'll get that hairbrush in no time." I said picking up a pen and putting it in my pocket. "Well then, let's get going. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll finish." I put the shoes back on. Jez took a pen and the yoyo. Sam had the other pen and exploding coin. I figured out that we hadn't actually bought this room and that nobody knew we were here so I took Jez and Sam took the yoyo and we made it to ground floor. Jez took the yo yo back and pulled out a ten,"We need to exchange this for french money" she pointed out. We wandered a while before find a money exchange place. After that we walked around a little longer and found a bus like thing to take. It cost all our money though. We'd have to find a different way into the Louvre. When we got of the bus, the sun was setting. We'd just have to camp out until dark. The Louvre was amazing. I was especially mesmerized by the glass pyramid and the carvings in the walls. (A.N. look it up. It's really cool. I'll spare all the details. It's be easier if you look it up).

 

I just couldn't resist. I took out a cellphone Sam had stolen from somewhere and given to me. I don't mind. He said he paid for it, but I don't believe him. Anyways I started taking pictures. They was some of the Louvre, some of us and some of us in front of the Louvre. My favorite was Sam standing crouched, palms flat up, in front of the glass pyramid but it looked like he was holding it up. We took pictures until it got dark. Then we sprang into action. I went up on one side and flew up with Sam holding onto me feet. He was surprisingly light. We landed on the top and saw Jez come up right next to us. We made our way across the roof trying to find a glass roof part to get through. We finally found one. Sam cut a hole in the glass we carefully removed it and slowly went down. On our way we shot any guards with the pen darts, or sleep darts, that we saw getting close.

 

We landed silently. We made our way, staying in the shadows, hiding from guards only shooting when necessary. The ones we shot we hid so they wouldn't raise the alarm. Finally we found it. There was a few lights, pink of course, shining on it. I used my last sleep dart on one of the guards and Jez used hers. We all crept forward and ignored the guards. But before we could do anything the alarm was raised. I took off and Sam grabbed me feet and I had Jez's yoyo. I hooked the top at the ceiling and pulled on it so she'd no she could come up. I grabbed my knife and quickly cut a whole in another glass roof (why hadn't we gone in through this one?) and moved aside as it fell and crashed through the floor. I flew up and Sam dropped onto the roof and helped Jez. Then we all took off again. We didn't talk the whole way. I just led them to a prak and we rested in the trees. "What do you think happened?" Jez asked finally. "They probably caught us on a video camera." Sam replied. I didn't want to talk. My first quest was a fail.
