Chapter 8

Taylor's POV

What in the hell did I just do?! I backed away from Liam cautiously realizing what I just did. "I'm sorry. I-I- don't know what just happened. I didn't mean to. I shouldn't-" I was immediately cut of by soft lips coming into contact with mine. Liam pulled me close to him, Our torsos coming into contact. I felt the heat radiating off his body and onto mine drawing me even closer to him.

The smell of spearmint lingered from him as I suddenly wrapped my arms around his warm neck. I felt Liam slowly run his hands along the curves of my side to my waist. Gently he placed his hands on my waist before completely wrapping them around me. The more we kissed, the more I became lost in this unrealistic world.

It was like everything was okay being wrapped in his arms. Nothing in the world could harm me, but we all know good things must come to an end sooner or later. Sadly mine came way to soon.

Liam slowly pulled away from me resting his forehead onto mine. I searched his eyes looking for an emotion but he was hard to read. It was almost like looking at a foreign langue you didn't know, you could look at it all day and never know what it says until you learn it. So I guess what I'm saying is that I want to learn Liam. Well if that makes any sense...?

I was instantly snapped from my thoughts by Liam's voice, " So I'm guessing from this morning you weren't expecting any of this?" Liam wore a cute little smirk on his face. A small smile grew on my face as I slowly shook my head, "not at all." Liam slightly chuckled at my answer.

"Taylor," he pause for a second and sighed a bit," I like you. Hell I like you more than I should. Now that may sound a bit harsh but my life isn't what most would call Average. I want to get to know you but I don't want to ruin your life." Liam slowly pulled away from me and strolled to my window looking out resting his hands on the window Payne (yes I know this is spelt incorrectly. I had an opportunity so I took it.👌)

I smiled knowing he was thinking for my best interest. Funny thing is though, I DID just meet Liam this morning. Although.. I am a Fucking big girl who knows how to protect and take care of herself. Who the hell is he to tell me in nice words that I can't take care of myself?! Well I think after what I've been through I have taken care of myself pretty well.

Well after putting aside the whole 'I am a big girl' situation, I began to think. Well he did practically save my life, he did come check on me after that bullshit downstairs, plus he has been nothing but nice to me.... And As a bonus he was Fine as Hell. After all of my thinking, I actually think it might be nice to get to know Liam. From what I can tell he seems like a great guy. I think he just might be worth taking a risk on. Hell if I take a risk living with thing one and thing two it's worth a chance right? I decided since I'm starting somewhere new why not try something new? Well in this case someone.

I slowly walked over to Liam's bent over stature grabbing him by his shoulders standing him back up straight. Liam's face showed curiosity as I grabbed him by his arms and lead him to my bed. I sat down and began talking,"Listen Liam, the fact that I just met you today and you are already have concern for me is insanely sweet. But I am old enough to make my own decisions, Therefore; I think it would be awesome if you took the time to let me get to know you." I grinned a I slightly pushed him with me index finger.

"Taylor I-" this time it was me who cut him off with a kiss. I slowly crawled on top of Liam so I was sitting in his lap. He again wrapped his hands ever so careful around my waist slowly tightening his grip. I smirk into the kiss knowing what effect I had on him. Little did I know though he had the same effect.

He hastily pulled from the kiss and looked me in my eyes before speaking again, "You defiantly have your ways of persuading someone Taylor." "Well ya know.." I giggled playfully hitting him on his chest. "Well in all seriousness," Liam started," I want to take you out. Like on a date, somewhere nice." He avoid eye contact. I concluded that this is something new to him. He must not have really showed his feelings to most. That made me smile a bit knowing he is wanting to try something different.. Kinda like me.

"I would like that." I grinned as I kissed his cheek. "Great I'll think of something before I leave and give you the details. How about we go downstairs with everyone else and watch a couple movies yeah?" I nodded and stood heading to the closed door only to be gently pressed against my closet door.

Liam created as little distance as he could between us and leaned close to my ear,"What are you doing to me." He states more then asked. I just giggled and tried to wiggle out of his grip. "Wait I wanna try something." Liam being sly and cheesy then crashed his lips onto mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss back but rather quickly ended the kiss just to tease him.

As I walked away from a stunned Liam I was sure to sway my hips a bit more then usual. I turned to see him bitting his lip and shaking his head. "Learn to keep up." I then opened the door and practically glided down the stairs.

I sat down in the corner of the sectional earning a few weird stairs from everyone. "Uhh where is Liam?" Kaley asked. "I am right here, and we are about to have a movie night. You guys got Netflix?" Liam pounded down the stairs and plopped onto the couch next to me and pulled me close. I then again smelled the spearmint. Ahh I think I could get used to a smell like that.

Liam and I chuckled as they all shared again weird glances. "What the hell happened up there? Did y'all fuck or something because this is hella strange." Austin asked grinning earning a good hard smack on the head from Anna. "No we didn't, and you would have known Because he would have been shouting so loud the neighbors would know my name." I smirked as I shot Austin the bird and crossed my arms sinking back into the couch.

"Oh so your a screamer Liam?" Luke grinned so he earned a smack from Kaley. "No but I know you are." Liam smirked causing Luke and Kaley to blush. My turn! I smack Liam causing him to turn and look at me crazily. "What was that for?" He questioned. "I don't know I just wanted to do it." I grinned because I thought it was funny. Ahhh this is going to be a good night!

***After a couple hours***

Everyone was saying their goodbyes as well as me and Liam. We stood on the porch, he held me in a warm hug but reluctantly pulled away yet held me close enough to where I can still smell his spearmint.

"I'm going to make arrangements at a restaurant for us to have dinner. Tomorrow night around 8. I could pick you up at 7:30." Liam spoke in a low voice. "I would love to but I have work." I sighed remembering I have a job. "Don't worry about Grace. I'll take care of her," He grinned," goodnight Taylor." And with that Liam gave me a kiss on my forehead and walked to his car.

"Goodnight Liam."

So I think I'm gonna start doing a weekly update. Well that's kinda what has been happening anyway. Well I have like 2 more weeks of school till I get out for Christmas break! Yayyyy!
