It's been 6 years since any of us wrote anything about this story, we have grown too busy with our jobs, studies, you name it. We even parted ways, but for some reason we took out the old book where we manually wrote, and how wrinkly it is since it was pass around the class so often, and it just reminds us of these chapters we left here in Wattpad.

Reading it again made us laugh and cringe so hard...but the worst feeling is realising you don't actually have time to sit down and just write ridiculous novel about cringy friendship that no one's gonna read anymore. All these things you use to fantasised are just here typed in words which reflects nothing about your life now. All these humour didn't seem so precious back then, and now that we've realised how much fun it is reading what we wrote together, and how much joy it actually brings, we're going to try to continue the story, together.

And if our lives are nothing near what we've fantasised, at least the characters in this story, the friendship of these 3 characters would have it better. (OUCH)

Ok here goes. (after 6 years :T)

Chapter 10. Routines

Emma got out of bed extra early today, while Jenna and Lauryne were still sound asleep, she walks gently down the hallway, wiped the dust off the pictures framed on the wall, swept the floor and made breakfast for the both of them.

Preparing for class, she dresses up casual and make sure every strands of her hair were in place. In class she consistently checks the time every 10-15 minutes and count down to how many hours left before class dismiss.  And when the bell finally rings and the lecturer dismissed the class, she left Lauryne and Jenna and head straight to town with only a smile on her face.

'ew.' Jenna utter in disgust, watching Emma happily walking away and disappear into the crowd of student. ' the effort though' Lauryne said 'i wonder how much longer until she gives up'.

Emma walks with her nose up, shoulders straight, spreading every bit of confident she has while she caught everyone's attention, left turn into the donut shop 'Donut Disturb'. Lousy pun name for a donut chain but gotta admit it serves amazingly fresh donuts.

'As usual Miss?'

'Yes please.' Emma reply the cashier with a blush.

She waited for her Mocha blend and raspberry donut as she continuously turn to the door for a familiar face.

'nope'

'uh uh...'

'ew.....'

'OH HELL NO.'

'hmmm nope'

'oh ok this guy is hella cute but still.... nope' Emma thinks to herself as every passerby is nothing than a disappointment.

she sits by the window hoping she'd have a better view of the streets so she wouldn't miss anyone on the busy road. Barely sipping her Mocha and chewing like an old person without teeth, she wished time past faster and that she could stay here longer. But within half an hour she's finished anything and had to leave the shop as its getting packed.

'oh well....' Emma shrugged her shoulder and left the shop.

'thank you come again' shouted the cashier with a smile like he knows Emma will enter the shop again very soon.

'..... no luck?' asked Lauryne. Emma shook her head with a fake smile 'whats worst, i saw britney and i knew i just had to leave'

'Hahaha' Jenna laughed and pat Emma in the back 'got a glimpse at the cashier maybe? He's cute, maybe you should try him instead, seems like an easy catch'

Annoyed, Emma slap Jenna's hand off her shoulder 'oh sure, why dont you come with me tomorrow and check out the cashier yourself'

Knowing Jenna, she'd take up any 'challenge' plus its a win-win since Emma might just get her accompany. 'Oh i will. even better i will get that cashier to give me a free donut, ' Jenna's triggered and excited for a challenged, she continue 'and if he does, you stop going to the donut shop, well at least not everyday, its not healthy and gosh YOU HAVE GOT TO SPEND TIME WITH US. i cant stand Lauryne bitching about Jake alone.'

'Hey!' Lauryne finally saying a word, not even looking away from her phone.

'Alright..alright its a deal.' Emma is positive that Jenna won't get a free donut. Heck! the cashier won't even give her free ice cubes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emma's alarm went off and as usual she made breakfast and did a little bit of chores. Went to class, wait for time to pass.

'Hell yeah im gonna get a free donut' Jenna say as the bell rings for class to be dismissed.

'we'll see' Emma chuckles.

They both head straight for 'Donut Disturb' and Jenna couldn't stop laughing. She couldn't contain herself and they both had loads of attention now since Jenna looks like she's having a stroke attack. Upon entering the shop she try her best to stay calm and went straight to the cashier and very quickly she asks for his facebook like they've known each other for a long time.

Emma stood there crossing her fingers hoping the cashier's not easy to fool.

'Really? No.... without the icing would be perfect, cant believe they refuse to have that on menu.'

'Yeah its quite unfortunate. but to have someone that appreciate the dough itself is really rare. I'd give you a free one as tester, and for this conversation,'

'Nah bro, it's alright. I'm not here for free food. I'm here to talk to you since we have the same interest' Jenna said smoothly and turn to wink and Emma who's panicking. She's losing the bet. She crossed her finger harder thinking 'NO. OH NO YOU DONT. NO FREE DONUT. NONONONO'

'Oh thats sweet' he blushed a little. 'Unfortunately my manager took the last one i made, cant let you have a taste of it. But, please let me buy you a drink. Coffee perhaps?'

'Americano. On the rock. and i mean it. Nothing above the ice. Thanks. I'll be at table 5.' Jenna's smile was gone within a second and turn to Emma with a middle finger. Emma tried to hold back her excitement and cover her mouth with both her hands. Cashier was confused as hell that evening.

And so Jenna lost the bet. She got a free drink instead of a donut. Emma laughed at Jenna the whole evening but still did not see who she came to see. Jenna was pissed off. The cashier never greets Emma again after that day.

'i guess, donuts are now part of my routine...' - Emma :)
