I looked out my window , thinking of what to expect tonight. Its 6:35 pm and jack still hasn't texted or called me yet. At least i'm ready so when or if he does come i don't have to rush.

I get up from off of my bed and head over to look at myself on my long vertical mirror. I spin around watching my hair flop to rest on my shoulder. I laughed at myself , knowing that this is the most confident I've ever been in myself.

"send my love to your new loverrr , treat her betterr , we've gotta let go of all of our flaws we both know we aint kids no mo-" I hurried over to turn of my ringtone. It was a call from jack. I smile relieved because it was now 6:50.

"Hello?"

"Ava I'm outside your house" Jack said.

"Okay ill be right down Gilinsky." i giggled.

I hung up while running down the stairs rushing through the door , not realizing how hard i slammed it.

Jack gets out of the car and runs up to open the door for me. I hop in and buckle my seat belt.

"so Jack where are you taking me?"

silence. He looked over at me and smiled.

I realized he didn't answer for a reason so i stayed quiet the rest of the ride , which by the way felt like it took hours.

" Were Here Ava."

i look up and were at the edge of a cliff. "Jack why are we here?" i said slowly. I look up at him ( i keep looking up because i'm like 5'5 and hes like 6 foot.) To see that he has something behind his back.

He turns around and places a blanket and a picnic basket on the grass. Ok i see what this is, he's really trying to make it up to me. Im kinda annoyed knowing that hes not gonna change but Im also looking forward to this. I sit down beside him on the blanket gazing across at the sky.

JACKS POV

I look over at Ava , and shes staring at the orange sky. Shes so beautiful. Her long brown hair blowing in the wind. Her eyes a Light brown. "Ava?"

"Jack" she said letting out a small giggle.

"im truly sorry for treating you so badly at school. I always thought that being mean to you would catch your attention. And well I was only being mean because i think you're beautiful." After i said that i looked down and rubbed my neck nervously.

Her eyes widened. But she didn't say anything, she just looked a me.

"Ava i know you might not believe me bu-

she leaned over and before i knew it her lips were on mine. Her lips were soft and I didn't want her to stop. I grabbed her face pulling her in closer to me. She slipped her tongue in my mouth. Our mouths moving together ever so lovely. I liked it. I liked her. i wanted her.

She pulled away breaking my thoughts and i looked at her confused.

" Jack i accept your apology and im sorry too."

"Thank you Ava." i said while intertwining our fingers.

AVA'S POV

After the date 'thingy'Jack took me home. While i was in the car i thought about our kiss. Jack was a good kisser and smooth with his words. I don't what took over me but after he told me i was beautiful i just couldn't control myself. I know that i don't like Jack. One date or whatever it was wasn't just gonna make me change my mind on how i feel about him.But Jack was sweet.

After what felt like 2 days of a silent car ride. I told jack goodnight and got out of his car. He watched me walk to my door before driving away. I took my keys from my pocket and opened my house door. As soon as i step in, I see my mom and ANOTHER dude sleeping on the couch. I knew she had fun, like she always does.

I run up the stairs , Jump on my bed , and start to remove my clothes.
I didnt even bother to shower

I lifted my blanket , climbing under. I thought about what tomorrow at school was gonna be like with Jack. 'buzz buzz' my phone vibrated.

I looked at the screen.

imessage from Jack*-*: Ava thanks for tonight , think maybe we can do it again?"

I smiled at the message before turning over in my bed and drifting off to sleep.
