Harley watched as her Puddin left their newest hideout and sped off. She knew where he was going, she knew why he was going, and she knew what he was doing. She was smarter than she seemed.
Harley Quinn had begun as Dr Harleen Quinzel after all.
"Does he know yet?" Frost asked her, he stayed with them, the others didn't. Frost knew everything about the pair, they couldn't risk him spilling the beans to their enemies, and, seeing as they were the unofficial King and Queen of Gotham, they had a lot of enemies.
Harley shook her head, Frost was a welcome change from the constant dark humour of her partner, he was a serious man, one who wasn't too fond of jokes, probably after years of working with a madman hellbent on turning everything into one.
"You need to tell him."
Harley turned away from the window she had been leaning on and looked at Frost. He was attractive, she supposed, he had boring coloured hair, and a boring beard, and no tattoos. Just like almost every guy the old her had been attracted to.
"He left to go a fuck another woman. I don't think he wants to know." She said tiredly, one of the girls she danced with at a club had told her, and when she didn't believe her, the girl had shown her.
Harley had been too distraught to actually confront him about it, his infidelity was constant, then he would come home and expect what he got from the other woman from her, she was sick and tired of it, so much so, that she slept in another room.
"Just think how many STDs he's got." Frost said, Harley winced.
"Jonny, I'm pregnant, whatever he's got, I've got." Harley laughed dejectedly, "He doesn't love me anymore, maybe I should go, start a new life. It's not fair to bring a child into this world if he's not prepared to accept it."
"Did he actually love you?" Frost asked, "Are you going to keep the baby?"
"Of course!" Harley didn't specify which one she meant, but Frost was sure that she was leaning more to the latter.
"He said he would be home by six, you should tell him, he'll get mad if you don't, and he'll know to avoid that area when he beats you up." Frost said, walking out of the room. Harley knew she should listen to him, but something about his tone, something about the words he used irked her, and she wanted to prove him wrong.
"He's stopped hitting me at least." She whispered to herself, and he had, she had noticed he had stopped hitting her about three months before the girl told her what he was doing, and, apart from, the occasional slap on the cheek, he hadn't hit her for another month. It was a record.

"Tell him." Frost whispered as he walked past her, she was going to, Frost knew it, she knew it, Joker knew that something was up. Harley was already standing outside his office.
Harley walked in, where he sat, lazily twirling a pen around in his fingers.
"Did I say you could come in?" He asked, Harley shook her head, fighting the urge to run, "Then what are you doing in here?"
"J, I know you're cheating on me." She said, ignoring his expression which turned from shocked to angry.
"Who told you-"
"But I have something more important to say. If you want to support me, that means you can't continue what you're doing, otherwise I'll leave."
"What is it, Harley?" He snapped, Harley flinched, he was angry at her, he would probably hit her, and break the four month record in the process.
