a pill:

to make you numb

to make you dumb

to make you anybody else

dear somebody;

you know? it is pathetic how such a beautiful and nice girl is taking pills. i don't understand myself that. how could it be? lila matthews take pills to sleep and when she's sad. in hopes she would become somebody else. her body would be lifeless on the bathroom floor while her soul is wandering.

she has the best grades in our year. she is wanted by all the good colleges of the country; if not maybe from other countries. she wants to be dumb. but why? to escape her dangerous thoughts? to stop analyzing correctly her unwanted fate?

she plays volleyball and boxes when she has time. she is so good at sports, she always gets out without a single scratch or bruise. so what pain does she want to numb? what's happening to her?

she is envied by everyone. by her friends because she's far more pretty and social. by her teachers because they could never have that grades. by the boys, because they could never attract as many people as she did. by everyone, in a different way. so why did she wanted to be somebody else?

if people knew this they wouldn't believe it because how could it be, lila matthews is taking pills. she is in a desperate need of help.

she herself doesn't know she is broken beyond repair. and oh, if she only knew she destroyed herself.

inevitably, my end came. a simple process of self-destruction.
