Chapter 11

"I thought we were perfect? But they perfect doesn't last long because everything was meant to be changed, Am I not for you?"

"No! Don't misunderstand what I said, there's just no other way for me here"

"there always is,  you just don't wanna do it because i don't deserve it"

I woke up crying.

I was stirring my empty cup of coffee in the cafeteria. Ngayon lang ata ulit ako nagkape sa tanghali and the caffeine is really striking in.

I haven't got a good sleep since Sir Mack drived me home. Simula nun ay kung ano ano na ang pinagiisip ko, he started texting me again pero parang mas ingat ang mga text niya ngayon. He would ask me things little things kagaya ng ginagawa ko or kung nakauwi na ba ako.

For me its just a friendly gesture. Ayoko ng mag isip pa ng ibang dahilan on why he was doing those things.

"Heard you got the highest score sa Math of investment natin" Don sat in front of me he was browsing his phone.

"yup, didn't expect that though, marami parin akong mali" well nag aral naman talaga ako sa subject na yon but the questions were really tricky and thank God mataas pa ang nakuha.

"You deserve it,  mukang nag aral ka naman" then he walked away. Hindi ko talaga maintindihan si Don,  one time he would be asking me about so unusual things like bakit ba daw kailangan pa ng beef kung meron nanaman daw pork and chicken?  Sounds stupid right pero Don is one of the smartest in class. Nataon lang na may sakit siya nung nag exam kami sa MOI.

Saturday came very fast and nandito na kami ngayon sa field for the morning colors. After that, since Sir Mack was the adjutant he was the one in charge of announcing the training detail for the day.

Lecture was the first part but then sabi niya we would be transferring to the lake park ng univ because may event daw ngayon ang University Student Council sa Oval.

The lecture was really minimal because midterms na and they focus more on application of drills. The lake park was just in front of our cafeteria kaya mas pabor sa mga cadets. It wasn't as huge as the oval grounds but it can accommodate the whole unit.

We were now formed by platoon then Mam Cleo went to us.

"Balita ko mate vil ang daming may crush sayo este sakin pala dito" Mam Cleo was the epitome of a beautiful boyish look. Kumbaga sa damit unisex,  Maganda siya for boys and ang gwapa niya for girls kaya ang daming may crush sa kanya, she was also very humorous in handling cadets mahilig siya mag joke but most of the time during training seryoso naman siya.

She called 3 cadets galing sa platoon namin then asked their names. After non pinalapit niya harap harapan si Sir Mack sa mga ito.  You could really see their crimson faces nung kaharap na nila si Sir. What made them squeal even more nung inakbayan na sila ni Sir.

The officers knew well pag may nagkakagusto sa kanila and they're really proud of it I don't know why. After ng eksenang yon ay bumalik na yung tatlong cadete and they were still blushing.

"grabee talaga siya, sobrang pogi! "

"for me mas kinilig ako kay Mam Cleo, grabee girl crush ko talaga si Mam"
