Ashleen Edmonds POV
The side lamp switched on and an unexpected voice startled us
"I wouldn't do that if I was you" she said evilly
"Oh my goodness" Toni said when she saw the knife and gun on the coffee table
"What the hell are you doing here!?" Toni and I asked in unison
"I wanted to pay ya'll a visit" she replied smirking. I swear I am so freaking scared. I started praying silently to God, asking for him to spare my grandmother's life.
"Please put the gun down" I begged her
"Why should I do that? I mean hell you would jump right at me after I drop this weapon" She said now pointing the gun at me
"We won't jump you, I just want to have a sit down conversation with you about your visit" Toni said calmly
"No, I am going to talk and you are going to listen!" she yelled in anger
"That's fine. Sit down Ash" Toni said to me. I rushed over to the couch and set next to her.
"Toni, and grandma can go downstairs so that Ashleen and I can talk" she demanded shooing them with the gun.
I sat down in fear of how this conversation will go. She locked the door and pulled the chair that was near the table and sat right in front of my face. I calmed myself, and prepared myself to talk to the devil's creation.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her. She started laughing but I found nothing funny about this
"What do I want here? You have some nerve to ask me that question" she replied
"Just answer the damn question!" I yelled in frustration. She hit me with the gun on the side of my head, making me groan in pain
"I want revenge" she said through gritted teeth
"For what?"
"Your fucking sperm donor killed my father and you think that I will not fight for justice. Well you thought wrong baby girl"
"Olivia, please just don't do anything stupid that will kill your little sister" I begged her standing up
"That bastard is not my sister. She is just a mistake that doesn't deserve to have life
Kenneth Brian Edmonds POV
"Kenneth Brian Edmonds, you're sentenced to ten years in prison" the judge said. I felt like dying right then and there.
But I have decided that since you are a first time offender, those ten years will be suspended. You are going to be on parole, if you get into any type of situation, you will serve those years and I will add more to them.
I stood there with a tear stained face. Time to go home and surprise my family. When I got home I found nobody there so I went to my mother's condo and knocked on the door and Toni opened without asking who it is. When she saw me she started crying out loud, and led me in the dining area. I saw my mother's face buried in her hands and she was sniffling
"What's wrong with ya'll?" I asked them but they remained silent
"Answer me damnit!" I shouted but Toni put her hand on my mouth signaling me to keep it down
"Boris' daughter Olivia is upstairs with a gun and Ashleen is in there" Toni explained
"We have to call the police. She might do something to her and the baby" I said pulling out my phone
The police came within ten minutes and when they reached the door upstairs, there was commotion. I ran there and kicked down the door. Ashleen started running towards me but Olivia quickly coked her gun and aimed right at Ashleen's back and shot her immediately and the police shot her in the leg making her drop the gun immediately
Toni Michele Braxton POV
"Tone, how is she?" Kenny asked me and I immediately cried
"The baby didn't make it. She died immediately after birth" I said and started feeling faint and everything went black
