After a lot of bickering from the boys, we finally made it. Yes, them in one piece. We finally decided on our orders.
"Ok, ice creams on me. You're welcome." Celesta said with a smile.
"Have I ever said how much I love you?" Calven asked Celesta.
"No."
"Well then let me start--" He didn't even finish because Celesta stuffed a napkin into his mouth.
"God, shut up Calven." She said rolling her eyes.
"I volunteer Xatia to order!" Tori randomly exclaimed.
"But-but, it's too far .." I said in whined.
"Please, we did most of the work so you shouldn't be tired. Also, you should show yourself off." Elexa said with a wink. Celesta always says, 'With a new look comes a new year; a new girl; a new you.'
"For the fact that it's just us and some old dude who's drooling a pool, I'm fine." I said getting up and ordering. I decided to end up waiting there instead. I then saw a big KitKat bar. Damn that looks good ..
"Is their anything else you would like m'am?" The nice girl asked.
"Uh, yeah. Can I also buy this please?" I asked grabbing the candy bar.
"Sure, that'll be $1.49 please." Wow, candy is just getting expensive .. then again this is huge.
"Alright, thank you."
"No problem, your orders are almost ready. We'll serve it to you when it's done." She said with a cute smile.
"Are you sure? I'd be happy to take it from here myself?" I said.
"No, it's perfectly fine m'am!" Wow, the service here is amazing. I then turned around to see that there were another group of people from the table across us. Wait .. awe dammit. That's the popular group. I casually walked by them ..

"Hey you're Xatia right?" Dammit. I turned around and put a friendly smile on.
"Yeah, that's my name."
"Cool, I'm Cole Taylor." He said shaking my hand and smiling.
"I'm Leenah Lewis." Said the blonde right beside him.
"I'm Delilah Jenkins." Said the brunette beside Leenah.
"Damien Valdez." Said the guy besides Delilah.
"Ahem — and I'm bored. Now, why don't you go back to your books and leave us - the people who have lives - alone." Said the bitchy blonde.
"Evelyn that's not nice." Delilah frowned at her friends' actions.
"That's Evelyn Walsh. She's not the type to get 'buddy bud' —" Damien said with a pause, then continuing with a devilish smirk,"— especially when her boyfriend is ogling another girl."
I was confused by what he meant. Then I saw him giving the smirk towards a blonde hair guy while he gave him an angry glare.
"I wasn't ogling anyone. Evelyn, you get too jealous. You know I don't like that type." Said the blonde rolling his eyes with a sigh.
"I-I wasn't jealous! I just don't get why you guys are so interested in her now!" She exclaimed gaping at the fact that blonde was hinting something she didn't like. Man, if they're together I feel bad for him.
"Would you like to sit with us for awhile Xatia?" Leenah asked politely.
"Oh no, I wouldn't want to intrude." I said. Even if I did, I'm sure Evelyn would burn me with her eyes ... if possible.
"A bit to late for that." Evelyn mumbled under her breath.
"Ahem —" Cole coughed giving the evil eye to Evelyn and her commentary. "— we insist. Just sit with us for a few minutes. Please?" Cole asked with a heartwarming smile.
"If you will excuse me, I need to go to the washroom." Evelyn said, with clenched fists.
"Here, sit in Evelyn's chair." Damien said pointing to the now empty chair beside him.
"You sure she won't try to kick me off it?" I asked nervously sitting.
Damien chuckled, "Evelyn's not use to 'outsiders'. Don't worry, I'll protect you." He said with a wink causing my cheeks to feel warm.
"So .. uhm how have you guys been enjoying your summer?" I asked trying to make things less awkward.
"Amazing!" Leenah said cuddling next to Cole as he put his arm around her. They are so darn cute together!
"Leenah and I spent a lot of the summer together. Mostly going to the beach a lot of the time." Cole replied.
"That's awesome. Must of been real fun." I said with a smile.
"Yeah, it was — perfect. Especially when you have the perfect girl." Cole replied kissing Leenah on her forehead.
"Guys, no mushy mush! We agreed on this!" Delilah whined covering her eyes.
"Please, get over it Delilah." Blonde guy replied.
I caught a better glimpse of him since he's sitting right next to me. He had a strong jawline, along with sculpted cheekbones and soft lips. I couldn't see his eyes as he had sunglasses on. His hair was a soft, golden colour that curls up a bit. It makes you want to let your fingers get tangled in them.
"Like what you see darling?" I snapped out of my daze to realize he's talking to me. Luckily, the others are talking about there summer.
"Please, don't be so egotistic." I retorted.
"Interesting. Most people adore my egotism." He said with a smirk. What's with guys and smirking?
"Well, I'm not like most people. I actually have a brain inside my head that isn't the size of a peanut."
"Damn, feisty aren't you, Hart? I gotta' find more girls like you." He says fully turning to face me, interested.
"Good luck, I'm one of a kind."
"Now I really like you." He said with an excited face.
