"Amara, would you be interested in visiting the Mirror World?"
"Um, I'm not sure that sounds like a good idea." I answered Sarah worriedly.
"Everyone wants to meet you, but it's okay if you don't want to go. It was just a thought."
"Why would they want to meet me?" I asked.
"They remember you from when you were seven. You're pretty well known." Sarah laughed.

They remember me from when I was seven? Way back from when Sarah and I were friends? I'd like to know everything that was hidden from me, but I won't trust just anyone. I wouldn't know what's the truth and what's not. I don't think it matters anymore. I just want a story to fill my empty mind. I want something to remember, even if it isn't true. I feel like I'm missing so much, even from the year I was seven. I need to know, or I need something to believe. Maybe everything is hidden from me because it would make me a different person? Living a different life?

"Okay, I'll go." I said, "I need some answers."
"Really? I'm sure we'll have many of the answers your looking for." Sarah said with a smirk on her face.

The moment she said that, I felt like so many doors opened, but I also felt like she was hiding so much. That smirk on her face. Was it a good or bad idea to say that I'd go? I'm not even sure I'll find what I'm looking for. For the first time, I'm actually frightened about what I'm going to find out. Will it be true or all lies? Will it be everything that was kept from me? I have no idea, but at least I'll know something.
Sarah just went through the the mirror to tell them I'll be visiting soon. It was so strange watching her just go through the mirror. She didn't disappear, but more like glided through a see-through wall. The room on the other side looks exactly like mine. Do they have an identical world? Or does it just appear to be identical? So many questions that will soon be answered.

"Mom! Where are you?" I yelled.
"I'm in the kitchen sweetie!" She hollered from downstairs.

I ran down the stairs and went into the kitchen. Either she was going to answer my questions or try to change the subject again. This is the last time I'm going to ask her about Sarah. I want to hear it from her first, but if she doesn't tell me. I'll find out everything from the people in the Mirror World.

"Who is Sarah?" I asked.
"I don't know who Sarah is?" She said nervously.
"You know exactly who Sarah is."
"What would you like for dinner?" She changed the subject just like always.

I'm done asking her. I'm going to find out on my own. I want to know about my past, the one I don't remember. All I have to do is wait for Sarah to come back telling me it's time to go. I will finally know why I don't belong here. Maybe I'll find my place somewhere else. Who I used to be may be the path I take to find who I will be.
