"Hello Emsly."
"Oh my god! Can you please not scare me again?"
"Sorry. I'm not sure if there is really a way for that. Maybe you should just expect me to come visit from time to time."
"Ah, okay. I guess."
"So what are you up to?"
"Not much, just doing homework. Why are you here again?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to come to the Mirror World and meet some of my friends?
"Um, I'm not so sure that's a great idea."
"Oh come on. It will be great!"I grabbed her hand and pulled her through the mirror. Her eyes lit up as she looked at the world that lied in front of her. I led her to the Soul Bridge, my favorite place in the Mirror World. The reflections off the water looked like souls, but they may actually be souls. We are in the Mirror World, anything is possible. She was either amazed or petrified because she hasn't said a word since we arrived.
"You actually live here?"
"Yes, I do. Do you like it?"
"It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen."
"Yeah. It's pretty incredible." I said enthusiastically.
"Is there a chance I could come here more often?"
"Of course! We would love to have you here more often."I let Emsly go back to her home in the other world, she was pretty worried about finishing her homework. I had to rush out when she went back, her mother was turning the door knob. I watched the two talk through the mirror, it reminds me of my family. The one I left behind with no goodbyes. I look through the mirror to see my old bedroom. My mother is in there sorting out my stuff. My old belongings placed into several boxes. She sat on my bed with a photo of me in her hands and tears running down her cheeks. I never thought about how much I meant to her. I always thought about going back and explaining what happened. I felt bad about how I just got up and left. I hope she will move on eventually, she deserves it. My mother has been so much more to me than I ever deserved.
Memories always kill. They may wear you out for a while, but you eventually break. Not much happened today, but I was done. I fell into my bed and crashed. The world around me went black and my mind lost control of thought.
