*Satine's P.O.V*

The image of Aayla shorted out and Obi-Wan released the communicator, letting it smack onto the tile floor. He rested his head back on the column and closed his eyes. I, on the other hand, kept watching the party, which at this moment was winding down. We should leave now... I thought, sleepily. I turned over to Obi-Wan and tapped his shoulder. When he didn't respond, I figured he was asleep. I laughed quietly and rolled my eyes. I tapped him again, just to make sure. When I was confident of my conclusion, I stood up and sighed, "Well, how am I going to fix this?" I tilted my head to see past the column we had been leaning against and my eyes were met with a large flight of stairs. Oh no... I grumbled.

For a few seconds, my eyes darted between the stairs and Obi-Wan, back and forth, back and forth. This is when I wish I had the Force... I bent down, grabbed Obi-Wan from under his knees and his neck. Despite being a few inches taller than me, he wasn't that difficult to carry. I stumbled the first few steps as I adjusted to the weight in my arms and eventually made my way to the stairs. There were a few gasps from behind me. Stupid people... I grumbled Why can't we just be normal? Not some Jedi and a Duchess. Why can't we merely be people?

I glided up the flight of stairs and I could tell they were looking at me. It angered me, the dumbfounded looks on their faces. It made me want to crush their necks.

"Satine?" Obi-Wan whispered, confused by the events that went on while he was asleep.

Frightened by Obi-Wan's sudden consciousness, I unceremoniously dropped him at the top of the stairs. He winced and instead of sitting up, he layed flat against the ground. Sitting down next to him, I tried to smile, but I avoided his gaze and glanced downward at the stairs.

Somewhat out of the blue, Obi-Wan asked, "Why are you so angry?"

I looked back and replied, "It's these people, Obi. They are so stubborn."

"Just like you," he shrugged.

"Just like the both of us,"

"Then why are you angry?"

"When people are stubborn, they like the 'the old ways' and they don't desire change. They try to avoid changes to things they know."

"Well, that is what keeps Mandalore consistent, keeps it prosperous..."

"Does it? Obi, we are that change and my people don't like it."
