*Obi-Wan's P.O.V.*
"Hide the royals..."
"Hide the royals..." Whispers echoed through the halls as Satine and I were shuttled through the corridors. Satine grabbed my hand and dragged me along with the rest of the crowd. My eyes darted back and forth, scanning the faces of those around me. All were solemn, silent and still.
"Hide the royals..."
"Hide the royals..." Almec stepped out in front of the group and rested his hand against the wall. I looked on, confused. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Almec gritted his teeth and elbowed the wall, a few feet away from his hand. A rectangular seam appeared and a hidden door scraped along the wall. Considering the planet's past, I shouldn't be surprised that there are hidden doors and passageways. Despite this, I was still taken aback by it. I was knocked out of a daze when Satine and I were shoved unceremoniously into the dim hallway. The door scraped shut behind us.
"Hide the royals..."
"Hide the royals..."
"Are you sure this is normal?" I asked, digging my hands into my pockets and walking next to Satine.
"Not entirely," she replied, in a flat tone.
"Well that's encouraging..." I rolled my eyes. Satine stepped in front of me, hands of her hips.
She scowled, "Would you rather be out there, with your life on the line?! How would you like that? Would you rather be shot by the Deathwatch?"
"Deathwatch agents? Are they from off-world?" Satine didn't reply and rested her head against the wall. She ran her hand through her hair and sighed. "They're from the inside, aren't they? That's not good." I paused and asked, "Why did no one tell me about this?"
"You may be my husband, but I'm the Duchess and you're just a boy."
"Is that how people see me? Just a boy?"
"It's better than being dead," Satine continued, in her flat tone. I balled my hands into fists and punched the wall, sending vibrations down the metal of the hallway.
"We can't stand here and wait!" I protested, "We can't abandon everyone! We just can't!"
"You agreed to this, Obi-Wan. You have a duty to pacifism."
"You're right. But I also have a duty to freedom," I started back down the passageway and attempted to pry the door open. I grabbed my lightsaber and ignited it, slicing through the door with its ivory blade. I kicked the door down and stepped out into the corridor. Satine wasn't trying to stop me, as if to prove a point. I carefully placed the thin sheet metal door back in position, saying, "Byyeee!" (And sounding quite a bit like Aayla) I dashed through the halls, backtracking to the throne room. I rounded a corner, grabbed my cloaked and swiftly exited the palace. Once outside of the archway, the scene became clear to me. A few of the royal guards lay dead on the tiled floor, burnt holes sitting center stage on their chests. At the end of the platform, a blue-armored warrior stood, leaning over the railing and staring down into the empty plaza. One of the warrior's twin holsters was empty. As quiet as I could, I reactivated my lightsaber and stepped forward. The warrior twirled around and laughed, brandishing a blaster pistol.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi, here to protect your little Duchess? Or did I already shoot her?" the warrior continued to laugh, twirling their pistol on their finger.
"Who are you?" I demanded.
"I'm from Deathwatch. I'm an agent of chaos. Is there anything more you need to know?"
"Why? Why did you do this?"
"The only reason anyone does it. To bring back the old ways, isn't that what they all say?" The warrior pulled out their second pistol and cocked both of her weapons. "And you're in my way so," the warrior waved, "Bye bye!" The warrior charged forward, firing a barrage of shots. I deflected most, but soon I was struck on my shoulder and my side. The force of the blasts knocked me to floor and left my lying on my back. I could tell the warrior rolled their eyes when they said, "So much for a Jedi.." They kicked my injured side and I released my lightsaber from hand, allowing it to roll across the floor. My assailant circled around, debating their next move. They knew the Duchess was far out of their reach, but I assumed they would be satisfying in killing the Duke, even though he was 'just a boy'. A large crash echoed from inside the palace, distracting the warrior. I summoned my saber back to my hand. The warrior strolled back over to me, saying, "I don't see any reason why I can't kill you now."
"I see one."
The warrior bent over and asked, like I was a child, "And what would that be?" I ignited my lightsaber, sending its blade through my attacker's stomach. They collapsed to the ground beside me.
"Who are you?" I scowled. The warrior emited a raspy laugh and shrugged. "Who are you?" I repeated. I was greeted by the same results. I ripped off the warriors helmet and midnight curls spilled out, revealing the face of the Deathwatch agent.

"Satine! How can you not take this seriously?! If Clove knows who we are, it could have terrible consequences!" Satine walked ahead of me, ignoring my concerns. "Satine! How does this not concern you?!"
"Clove won't tell anyone. I trust her."

She was still laughing when her eyes rolled back in her skull and the lights went out. Clove wasn't only a waitress. She was a murderer.
