*Satine's P.O.V.*

I sorted through the papers strewn across my desk. I sighed, dropping into my chair. Leaning over, I noticed a note taped to the metal surface. "Obi-Wan..." I laughed as I peeled the note from the table, "What did you forget this time?"

Dear Satine,

No, I didn't forget anything. I have something for you. Well, I think that's obvious if you've looked at this note at all.

My eyes scanned the rest of the note. It was list of names, a very long list. I couldn't begin to count how many there were. There might have twenty, maybe even thirty.

So I've been thinking... about a lot of things. Obviously, because this whole situation has been so stressful. I realized there was one thing we never talked about. A name. I mean, what is a person without their name? Anyway, I made a list, which became a very long list.

The names were written in different colors, and some were smudged. How long had Obi-Wan been making this without my notice? A few names were circled.

This list began:

Tegan

When I started reading, I received a kick to the stomach. I didn't think the baby could hear that, because I hadn't said it aloud. Perhaps there would be another Jedi in the household.
Jyn

"Nice try at being subtle, Obi-Wan..."  I rolled my eyes.

Shi-Fara

I received another kick to the stomach. I groaned and muttered, "It's probably a boy."

Gaiana

Talia

"Again with trying to be subtle..." I sped through the rest of the list.

"Aspen, Jaina, Aure, Fay, Traya, Aryanna, Leia, Pearl, Kailyn, Rey, and Ash...wonderful. Lots to choose from." The metal floor creaked behind me. I turned, eyes wide as if an eminent threat lay right out of sight. Silly little Duchess, it's just- I stopped, when the floor creaked again. Its sound was reminiscent of footsteps. The grinding of a door startled me, so that I turned to face to doorway. A shadowy figure stood there, enveloped in black cloth and laces. I stumbled back as the figure nodded in recognition. The black-veiled bride approached with a limping shuffle, a devilish smirk painted across her face. When I collapsed to floor, my head smacked against the floor, blacking out my vision.

After a few seconds in the darkness, I regained consciousness. I was in the same room as before, but all the lights had been extinguished. The black-veiled bride hovered above me, her hands held a short distance from my stomach. Her head turned to face me, with robotic twitches. "You've got a baby, haven't you?" she cackled. I nodded. She smirked, "Let's have a look!"

The black-veiled bride, furious as always, plunged her ghostly hands into my stomach. I screamed and desperately wrestled with the bride's arm. Suddenly, she ripped her hand from my stomach after emitting a shriek. As she waved her hand, it gradually returned to "solid" form. Blowing on her fingers, she laughed, "You've got a feisty one in there." I debated whether to be proud or merely terrified. I chose to be terrified. Unfortunately, before I could scream, a splitting pain in my head knocked me to the floor. As my vision faded, the black-veiled bride waved and cackled, "Sweet dreams, little Duchess..."

My eyelids flickered open, when I felt someone shaking my shoulders. It was Almec. "Duchess! Duchess Satine, are you alright?" he shouted.

"Wha-what happened?" I stuttered.

"You fainted," came his reply.

"No," I insisted, "No, I couldn't have. I saw her!"

"Saw who, your Highness?"

"The bride! The lady in the black lace, have you seen her?"
