Freed has had a crush on Laxus for as long as he could remember. But his whole world could come crashing down when Mirajane starts to lay hands on his man.
Will Laxus be able to hear Freed over the wedding bells?
I stretched and yawned, as I sat up in the old bed. Noticing the lack of heat to my side, I presumed that Laxus had left a while ago. What to do, what to do?
Oh right, Mirajane.
I fumbled on my slippers and shuffled over to where I sent the runes just that night. Only to see...nothing.
NOTHING AT ALL! What if Mira went after Laxus, on her own?! What if Laxus was taken in the middle of the night, his screams muffled by the sounds of her insane laughter on his way to death?
Don't panic, just take a deep breath. Nothing was working, in fact I was getting worse and worse with each passing second!
I was about to have a serious panic attack when a loud 'BOOM' scared me senseless. I spun around and saw a fierce looking Laxus standing n the doorway. The light from the hallway cast shadows on his face that gave him a villainous
I blushed at the sight of Laxus looking so masculine and sassy.
It was amazing how Laxus can turn my train of thoughts so quickly. One moment I'm freaking out, the next i'm practically fawning over the leader of the thunder legion.
Oh shit, right. Mira.
"Hey Laxus? I don't know if you remember, but we kind of had a murderous psycho locked in runes, at the foot of the bed. She was alive and very deadly. Do you know where she went?"
He gave a small chuckle that made my heart stop.
He took a small cloth pouch from his pocket before emptying it on the still not made bed. Various coins and gems spilled out.
"When Mira left the guild in search of us yesterday, she ruined some shops on the way. I don't know how the hell she did it, but with all of the complaints and destruction, she managed to be a wanted criminal in less than 48 hours." He stated matter-of-factly, before sitting down in a not very comfortable chair.
"After I turned her in, I was given that reward." Laxus had a confident grin on his face that almost resembled a younger dragon slayer after he won a fight.
As the stress of the thought of Mirajane escaping left my shoulders, I started to pack my bag.
"Why are you packing?" Laxus asked as he collected the coins on the bed.
"The mission we took shouldn't take long, I expect to be home by sundown" I replied while zipping up the side of my bag.
I was about to grab my bag when a larger hand grabbed it before me. "Laxus, I am perfectlyfine with carrying my own bag." I pouted.
"I know." Was the only answer I got back.
With the train leaving in the next half hour, we had to quicken our pace to make it on time.
