chapter 13

today was now Monday and I didn't really want to go because I didn't want to deal with people. Don't get me wrong people stopped bulling me and everything but that doesn't mean that they don't send me death glares in the halls and in class and stuff. I was currently putting my hair in a ponytail when john walked through the door of my bathroom. Thank good I had finished getting dress before he could see anything heh heh.

'' Hey angel are you ready yet?'' I nodded my head yes. I was putting on my eyeliner when arms made their way around my waist. I finished putting that on and turned around to put my arms around johns neck.

'' Can I not talk today because I don't want people to know I'm talking even if it is a little bit?'' I asked while biting my bottom lip.

''Yeah babe sure as long as you talk to me I don't care but we need to work on you speaking louder and talking  little bit more alright? And do you talk to your mom to or still just me?'' he said

" Okay and I kind of talk to mom she was surprised cause not talking for eight years is a long time for me and when I first talked in front of her she started crying but said how much she missed my voice." I replied but this all happened yesterday.

flashback**

my mom was sitting in the kitchen at the table reading a book. she looked up to see me standing in the door way.

" Honey are you okay?" she asked concern dripping with every word she spoke.

" Yeah mom I'm fine my throat just hurts a little but other than that everything's fine okay." my words were just a whisper but I knew she heard because of the tears in her eyes. she got up from the table and walked over to me and pulled me into a tight hug. 

" Oh my baby girl I've missed your voice. I cant believe your talking again!" she sobbed into my shoulder. I couldn't help but cry with her cause she was the only one who knew how bad I was hurt and what happened and all that so for her to hear me talk for the first time again it was surprising.

flashback over**

John  pecked my lips softly. "Babe are you ready to go now."  '' Yeah I'm ready lets go." I grabbed his hand and we walked down stairs where my mom was sitting drinking coffee. " by mom im going to school." I spoke a little louder than I usually do just so she could hear. "Okay dear have a good day you to john!" she called back. WE got into his car and he started driving, so I turned up the radio to find that Marianas Trench was playing so I sang along.

" there's no yellow bricks to follow back and run from that disaster familiar sins come crashing in sever forever and after, my old friend its time to leave you here for once for all in frozen alabaster. believe me there's no place like home, there's no place like home."

Grrr I didn't get to finish the song because we had already arrived at school. John parked his car and we got out, but only for me to be tackled by may.

" Zoey Marie Lopez  how dare you not text me these past few days I thought you bonehead of a mate killed you or something!!" dang my ears hurt now heh oh did I forget to mention that I got my dads last name instead of my moms. Oh what joy. Note the sarcasm.

"Hey may and sorry I've been busy." I gave a sheepish smile cause I just spoke to her and her face was priceless.

" Ohh eemmm geee zoe did you just speak to me like no ish you spoke!!!" I nodded my head and started using sign language again."

' yes now shush cause I don't want people to know okay." she just nodded then turned and looked at john before jumping on him screaming in his ears while crying. " Oh thank you thank you!!! You got her talking again I've thank you thank you."

wow way to start the day heh this should be good.
