Chapter 4

John and i walked out of the classroom hand in hand. It was kinda weird because he was popular and i was just the emo mute freak that everybody hated or bullied. Walking into the cafe everyone looked at us with their mouths hung open and i even got some glares from girls who seem to like john.

Sally walked up to us glaring at me hardcore I'm pretty sure if looks could kill i would be 6 feet under right about now. " What the hell are you doing with my boyfriend you worthless piece of shit! oh wait i forgot you cant answer cuz your a fucking slut y- " she was cut off by a growl coming from John. "Don't you ever and i mean ever talk about my girlfriend that way and besides Sally if anyone's a worthless piece of shit and a slut its you and besides I've always loved Zoe you were just a cover up cause i was to much of a wuss to tell her how i really felt about her and no matter what she perfect to me even its she cant talk. Now get out of my face!" he yelled in her face. I just stood there mouth open a little, man Sally looked like she was about to cry but took of running before anyone could see her crying. John turned to me with a nervous smile and his arm up scratching the back of his neck, " Um yeah so i guess you know i love you now right?"

I'm getting tired of not talking ima try and talk to him okay here goes nothing. " Ive a-always l-lo-loved y-you to." i stuttered a bit but it felt good to talk. Everyone was staring at me with utter shock did my voice really sound that bad. Tears threatened to fall until John said, " Babe you just talked. " he grabbed my cheek but continued, "your voice is beautiful to." he leaned down and kissed me. The kiss was simple but held so much love in it.

Maybe this wont be so bad

me: so Zoe how does it feel to talk for the first time in 8 years after everything thats happened to you?

Zoe: ( sign language) well it feels great i guess but still a little weird and idk i just hope everything goes alright for me you know.

me: yeah i know what you mean. Hey where's John at?

Zoe: Um very good question i do not know hmm

John: ( walks on the stage ) don't worry ladies im right here so what did i miss so far.

me: nothing important just talking about what happened and um why don't you have on a shirt?

Zoe: dayyuuummmm my mate is fine!!!

John: (chuckles) cuz i just got back from a run is that okay bri and what did Zoe say?

me: uhh nothing and um we really should go now before these girls go crazy hehe well bulge guys I'll see y'all tomorrow!!! (walks off the stage)
