Jin~ Cooking (Cute)

You are trying to cook something special for Jin, but it's not quite going to plan...

Role: Olivia

I stuck my tongue out as I put all my concentration into cutting up a onion and yes, I was crying my eyes out. This is the third onion I'm trying to dice and it's failing nearly a badly as the others. At this rate I'm not going to get this dinner done. I sighed and hung my head low as I leaned onto my arms on the counter considering to get a takeaway for dinner. I knew I should've listened to my mum when she said I should learn to cook. I let out a frustrated groan. All I wanted to do was to cook a nice dinner for my boyfriend and I as a cute thank you for him constantly cooking for us.

"Okay, one more try." I said as I grabbed another onion from the bag and peeled off the skin. Just as I was about to slice the onion two hand slammed down onto my shoulder causing to completely freak out and drop the knife on the counter. I turned to see Jin smiling I sighed in relief and smiled back as he hugged me.

"Hey." he said pulling back and kissing me on the forehead.

"Hey." I replied. His smile faded when he noticed the tears on my cheeks.

"What happened?" he said as he placed a hand on my cheek and used his thumb to wipe away the tears. I simply pointed to the cutting board with the onion and he nodded. "You're trying to cook dinner?" he asked.

"Yes." I said turning back to the onions and picking up the knife. I felt his arms wrap around my torso as he placed his chin on my shoulder.

"Jagiya, you do know you can't cook right?" he said smiling at me.

"Well thanks for the confidence boost." I huffed I sliced the onion down the middle then paused thinking up a strategy on how to dice it. Jin tutted as he moved away to get a knife.

"You're nearly as bad as Namjoon." he said coming back whilst tying an apron.

"At least I know which way the to hold the knife." I giggled.

"Let's make dinner together tonight." he said.

"But Jin~. I wanted to make it as a thank you since you always cook." I pouted as he walked up to me.

"I know Olivia, but at least you tried." he said smiling. "Now, this is how you dice an onion." he said turning to the cutting board and I watched closely as he showed me how to cook a pad Thai. I helped along the way by cutting up some chicken and vegetables and he even trusted me to stir the noodles for a bit. After 30 minutes we had made a delicious looking (and smelling) pad Thai. My mouth watered as Jin served out the food. We sat opposite each other at the table and dug into to the food and it was so good. I finished within 5 minutes and sighed with satisfaction as I leaned back into the chair.

"You shouldn't eat so quickly, you'll get a stomach ache." he said with a mouth full of food.

"But it was so good~" I giggled. As soon as he finished I took the dishes and washed up before joining Jin on the couch as he scrolled through which movies we should watch. I sat next to him and leaned into his chest as he put an arm around my shoulder. Finally we decided to watch Pirates of the Caribbean and settled down to watch it. A quarter of the way into the movie Jin called out my name.

"Yeah"

"Did you actually think you could cook without burning the house down?" he craned his neck to look down at me. I looked up at him with a scowl on my face.

"I can have my aspirations." I huffed. He chuckled and then leaned down to kiss me on the lips softly.

"I love you Olivia."

"I love you too." I said settling my head back onto his chest. At that moment I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen and my stomach growled.

"Jin."

"Mm."

"My stomach hurts."

"Now what did I tell you?"
