Role: Melody

I looked out to the glistening sea as the sunset reflected off it. I listened to the waves crashing against the side of the cruise ship while leaning onto the railing of the ship and breathing the sea air. The wind blew my hair back as I closed my eyes and took in the serenity. I jumped when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and a weight leaned onto my shoulder and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hoseok! Don't do that, what if I got so scared and went over-board?" I said letting out a breath. He gave a low chuckle.

"Then I would go in to save you." he replied. I turned around so that my butt was against the railing and wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned up to peck him on the lips.

"You're my knight in shining armor." I said, smiling lightly at him whilst he gave me his famous smile. He looked out to sea and his eyes widened as he spotted something.

"Mel, look!" he said whilst spinning me around to look back out to see then holding my waist again. I gasped an smiled as I saw dolphins leaping out of the water and creating splashes not too far from the ship.

"It's beautiful!" I said. I suddenly had a silly idea, then spread my arms out so that I resembled Rose from Titanic. "I feel like I'm flying, Jack, or should I say Hobie!" I yelled out. Hoseok laughed then started to sing the Titanic theme song before we both burst out laughing.

"This is probably the best time in my life. From the moment I saw you in the white dress to this Titanic moment." he said resting his chin in the crook of my neck and softly kissing my jaw.

"I guess honeymoon's are one of those amazing moments in life." I said turning my head towards him. At this moment I realised how dark it had gotten because the sun had set and it had gotten considerably colder; very cold since I was wearing a strapless dress. I felt something warm and soft go around my shoulders and I turned to see Hoseok had wrapped his jacket around me.

"Lets get inside, it's chilly out here." he said putting an arm around my waist and led me to our suite on the second deck on the ship. We got changed into something warmer and made our way back up to the main deck to just hand out and talk. We sat on a bench which faced out to the side of the ship and I leaned my head against his shoulder as we chatted on.

"I'll be right back, I'l go get us some water." Hoseok said before kissing my forehead and then going to the nearby bar on the deck. I looked out at the black waters and let my mind wander off. I was broken out of my trance when I heard people coming my way. I looked to my right to find three drunken men laughing and joking around then suddenly one of them spotted me and pointed me out. I immediately looked away and wrapped my coat around me even tighter and started to panic as I head their foot steps approach then one sat down in Hoseok's place.

"Hello there beautiful." he slurred, a strong smell of alcohol emitted from him making me recoil back. "You look lonely and cold, need me to warm you up?" he laughed in a unpleasant way. I tried getting up and walking tot he bar where Hoseok was but one of the other guys grabbed my arm and tugged my back to sit on their lap. I yelled and squirmed but they kept on laughing.

Suddenly, the guy let me go and I felt someone tug me out of his grip and push me behind them. I looked to see Hoseok with anger on his face.

"I would like you to leave my wife alone, thank you very much." he growled, giving them all a cold stare. The guys looked at eachother then shrugged and apologised before stumbling off. He turned to me and started to check if I was okay or hurt. I kept on saying I was fine but just a bit shaken. He let out a sigh and engulfed me in a hug, rubbing my back.

"You know I'm not gonna let you be by yourself anymore, just in case any other men decide to take you away from me." he said and I chuckled at his protectiveness. I pulled back and kissed him on the lips, taking in the moment and thinking about the future.
