I hear him go upstairs and I open my eyes. How does he know my name? I've never once said it. I sit up in the darkness and wrap the blanket around myself. What if hes not really who he says? Have I just invited a stranger to sleep in my bed? This wasn't such a good idea. Thought fill my mind and I sigh. I don't know what to do. I stand up and decide to check on him. I quietly tip teo up the stairs so he won hear me.
The door is open a crack and the lights on. I walk very slowly up to the door and peer inside. I see Winwin take a small pillow from my bed and a light blanket I keep in my closet. He lays down on the floor and not the bed. Why not? I watch in puzzlement as he makes his small little bed on the floor. He the sits down and looks at his lap. "I know I haven't spoken to you in a while but I just..."Winwin says and looks up. He pauses for a long time and then I notice tears fall from his cheeks.
My heart breaks into a million pieces. "Thank you. Thank you for letting me meet (y/n) and letting me stay here in this nice house, even if its just for one night. I know youve seen me struggling while sleeping outside because no one wants a street cat. But just thank you god. I will repay her in anyway I can"He then says and hangs his head. I want to barge in there and give him a million hugs but I feel like that's a bad idea.
I then hear him mumble something then a light flash of light surrounds him. I close my eyes and when I open I see him as a kitten. He curls up on the pillow and goes off to sleep. I smile and then quietly go back down stairs. I lay back down on the couch and put my blanket back over me. Maybe hes not as bad as I thought. I then doze off to sleep.
