*Link's POV*

I saw Nathan trying to go in for a hug. Instead Ariana put her hand out, and Nathan give a cheap smile. He awkwardly left the studio and Ariana came into the booth.

"Hey, so what did you two talk about?" I asked, sounding relaxed.

"He just said he hadn't seen me in a while, and then he asked me out..."

"What!?" I exclaimed.

"Don't worry!" she said, gesturing that I sit back down, "He just wants to go as friends. Nothing's going to happen."

I sighed. Her tone was reassuring, and made me feel better, "Alright. Look I trust you, nothing better happen alright." She came up to me and wrapped her arms around me.

"Let's work on this song."

*Ariana's POV*

I felt bad not telling Nathan what we were doing. But it was better he find out from the media than me. And I know that sounds wrong, but he'd be infuriated either way. It was a lose, lose situation. Link started playing the piano chords, we decided to make it live instead, and then work on the actual track later on. We wanted to know how people liked the live, acoustic version first.

I'd like to say we gave it a try

I continued singing, Link looking up everyone and a while to smile. He played a little piano solo, then held his head high.

I listened to him sing, he made it a long way from the last we sang together. He'd only sing with me though. Which wasn't always so bad, I loved having him in my tracks. All my fans were telling me, we should become a duo. I liked thinking about me and Link being a duo. I mean we already saw each other so much, it'd feel even better to see him at every concert, on stage with me. Playing guitar or piano, or getting behind the massive drum set Scooter had bought him for Christmas.

He played a couple more chords before ending the song. I smiled. His voice was so beautiful, and he always put 110% into every lyric.

"Thanks for watching!!" Link grabbed my face and have it a kiss. I laughed and stopped the camera.

"You were great!" I told him.

"You too," I saw a sad look in his eyes, "So, when are you going out with..."

I sighed, "Really Link?"

"I'm sorry, I just want to know how much longer I have you until you leave..." his eyes were saddening even more.

"Three, which gives us another hour together." I told him, his eyes lighting up a bit. "Let's go back to your place."

He smiled. I grabbed his hand and we left the studio.

I waved bye to Link, time seemed to

move so fast. It only felt like I was with him for a couple minutes. We didn't do anything dirty, we just talked. Like we always do. I told him about some new ideas for a song, he told me about his ideas for a night out tomorrow. Everything was perfect.

I got into my car and saw a text message from Nathan.

Nathan: Hey, I was thinking maybe the little shop around the corner past the studio?

Me: Sure

I started my car, and revved the engine. Link was looking through the window. I stuck my tongue out and all he did was smile.

I backed my car out and waved once more, leaving Link at his house.

*Nathan's POV*

I was already at the shop. It was a normal place for celebrities went to. I waited for Ariana and a lovely lady walked up to me.

"Hi, I'm Steph. I'll be your waitress. Can I start you off with a drink?" she was so polite.

"Yeah, just water." I replied, revealing a smile.

She nodded her head, "You meeting someone here?"

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I asked, quite concerned.

"I can see it in your eyes." She smiled. "Tell me when's she's here, I'll bring you two a free dessert."

"Thanks." I said.

She turned around, I was feeling a bit worried. Ariana didn't seem so excited when I asked.

I felt my leg shaking. Steph brought over my water, and I gave a fake smile.

I really just wanted to talk. I was just going to try to be friends with her.

That's all I wanted to do. For now.
