*Link's POV*

I sighed, she said she'd be home by five. It was already six.

I felt anger inside me, but quickly pushed it away.

She'd walk in, I'd ask where she was, she'd tell me something logical and cute, and I'd sigh then say okay. We'd go on for the rest of the night, things seeming fine.

But to be honest, things weren't fine, and she could see that. It wasn't both of us, but more so me. I was closed off, I never let her enter like how I used to. I'm just afraid.

Getting attached to someone was something I was gifted at. One person I seemed to get along with, I'd be hanging onto their leg, begging them not to go. I managed to hold on to Ariana in two years. She notices that I just go along with it. Truth was, if I didn't go along with it, my answer would always be no. No this. No that. No, you can't go out. No, you can't hang with friends. But, no, in my mind, meant stay. I was a messed up person. My mind may have seemed fine, but if you dissected it closely, you'd notice that I'm mentally insane. Music was my way out of that, for however long I participated. But I usually was pretty crazy.

I heard the door open, and I causally swaggered my way over to the living room,

"Hey." she said.

"Hey." I sat on the couch, and she plopped next to me, giving me a side hug, "Where you been?"

"I bumped into Colleen, so we decided to go out for a while. Sorry I kept you waiting."

"Nah, nah," I started, "Carson came over anyways," Carson was my twin brother. We sure didn't look like twins though. For one thing, he liked growing out his hair, and he was a science geek. I wasn't so good academically.

"Oh, that's nice." she stood up, and walked into the kitchen.

I turned on the TV, trying to make it seem like I was doing something.

What kept streaming through my mind was what they had done during their date, I wanted to ask. But I didn't want to intrude. I wanted to know. I didn't want to demand.

"Wow," she came back in, a bowl of grapes. I opened my mouth, she tossed one in. Her aim had gotten better over two years, "Five minutes, and you haven't even asked yet. But I see it in your eyes, you're dying to know." she smirked as I nodded. "Look. All we did was talk. He took me out to the little shop, we just, got caught up with each other."

"He tell you how long he's staying?"

"Nope," she popped the P, "But he wants to go out again," she said quickly.

"Excure me?!" I yelled.

"Link!" she yelled back.

"I'm sorry if I don't want my girlfriend to go out with her ex!" I stood up, furious. I started pacing back and forth in the living room.

"Link," she said, trying to get me to stop walking back and forth. "Look, I know that you're upset--"

"Upset isn't even close to how I'm feeling!" I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down, but it wasn't working. "And, and you," I looked her straight in the eye. "You agreed?"

My tone became saddened, as I plopped onto the couch. She sat down next to me, putting a hand on my knee.

"Link," she said, her voice low. "Nothing is going to happen," she kissed my cheek. "And do you know why?" I looked at her, her eyes in puppy dog mode. "Cause, you're coming too."

Hope you guys enjoyed.
