Dear Rowan,

I'm so sorry. I told you that we'd go to Burger King this afternoon but mom called.

I didn't mean to leave you, although you probably knew that cause I was already in your car when she rang me up.

You were supposed to treat me today cause I failed a quiz and I felt such a failure. I never failed a quiz, I am a cream of the crop. Or at least I was.

And I felt so bad because you were supposed to treat me and we were supposed to have fun. But I guess fun isn't really going to happen to me these days.
