Weird Love and Life?! Duh! I'm a Vampire!

Hello, my name is Serenity Scott and I’m 17 years old. And let me tell you something. I’m not normal. I’m a vampire! But unfortunately for me I’m not just a vampire. I’m a vampire princess. And I hate it!My parents died-murdered to be exact-when I was 10 years old. Demons killed them. Before they died they let me know that they wanted me to marry Prince Arthur Gellar. I’m the princess of England and he is the vampire prince of Iceland! I met Prince Art-as he prefers to be called-and I like him as a cousin-like the stupid, deluded cousin!

  The Council wants to fulfill my parents wish but that will happen only if by the time I turn 21 and I haven’t met someone ‘good’ for the country and me. My Aunt is in the Council-her name is Michelle Smith-and she let me know what’s going on. The Council rules now because they think my Aunt is irresponsible and reckless-and they are right!

    My Aunt is single and over 200 years now she acts stupid! She doesn’t want to marry or something! Truth be told-I don’t want to either. I’m not that thrilled about the whole idea about getting married for the country. Anyway.

   I have a human friend, her name is Ashley Adams. She doesn’t know I’m a vampire. I go to a human school-this year. Other than that I was always home schooled. A lot of human boys flirt with me and I flirt back but nothing more! The Council watches over me. One wrong step and they do whatever they want. Greedy old morons!

   Now you must be wondering. How can I- a vampire-go out during day time, right? Well, I can-we all can. But we made up that myth so humans would leave us alone and believe they’re safe in daytime. Truthfully though no one-mortal or immortal-is ever safe. There is great evil out there. Evil that even we-vampires and other supernatural- have nothing to do about. That evil is within the humans! Sometimes we even fear it!

   Garlic just gives us a reason to sneeze but we can actually eat it. No joke!

    Now let me explain how things work. Each country has its human government but every kind of supernatural being living on the country there is a King and a Queen.  Vampires have theirs, demons theirs and etc. But above us all there is a higher power. The Higher Council. That Council contains a powerful person from each of us.

    They come forth only when a Kingdom goes against another for no particular reason. If for example the Vampires of England go against the Demons of England they restore the peace between us. Is it clear?

   So, the Council contains counts, dukes etc. The Council is over-powered by the King and the Queen. They cannot act on their own-only in great need. And if they detect any bad signs with the King and the Queen they can make whatever they wish with them-even throw them from the throne. We-Scotts-rule England since the beginning of this regime. We are powerful as a family. My Mother was a Countess-Aunt Michelle is her older sister.

   So, I have to find a husband that is appropriate for the country and then for me-and not just that but also have a child with him! Yikes… And then they say we are in the 21st century. Humans are lucky and they don’t even know it!

    We do have a reflection and we do not sleep in coffins but we do sleep. Oh, we do drink blood but we can also eat normal-human food. As for killing humans? We stopped centuries ago. We have a law-don’t bite humans, not to kill them or to change them. But of course there are exceptions to every rule and law. Because once in a while a vampire might lose control and he might not be able to finish his ‘meal’ then he has to change the human. On some other cases they wish to only change them-then they have to take permission from the Council, the King and the Queen-and on some rare cases from the Higher Council. Oh, well.

   My friend Ashley is fun to be around but I live in a castle-I have invited her in an apartment we have in London, my school is in London. She’s blonde with brown eyes and I have black hair with blue eyes. Both my parents had blue eyes. She’s really pretty for a human teenage girl and smart-especially if it involves boys. Oh, well… She has a free future ahead of her however I don’t. We’re not that close but close enough for school, besides her blood doesn’t smell that good! Just kidding, people!
