After my creepy experience at the mall, I went to Dicks Sporting goods to get some things.

My dad gave me a gift card a while ago with $100.00 on it.

Walking into the store I went straight for the wall lined with quality soccer balls. Tracing my finger down the wall I finally decided on a black and orange Adidas Predator ball.

With the ball under my arm I made my way to the woman's section. After grabbing about $50 dollar worth of track shorts and sports bras, I finally decided I was done for the day.
I pranced to my truck, slipping the key into the ignition and driving off.
When I got home, I retrieved a pair of my new black, blue, and yellow Reebok track shorts.

I slipped them on along with a Region B Cup tourney shirt and my all black 5.0s.

Skipping to the bathroom, I threw my hair up into a messy bun. I walked down stairs grabbing a granola bar and plopping down on the couch.

*ding dong*

" Ugh, seriously" I whined.

I opened the door revealing a very distraught Sam.

"Kylee Kian's missing." he blurted

"Wait. what? how?" I asked panicking

"I dont know I got home an he didn't show for 3 hours so I called, he didn't answer, I called his mom, she hadn't seen him, I called Kate, she hadn't either." He listed out of breathe.

"Kate's house. Now" I demanded grabbing my Adidas warm up jacket from the hook.

"Wait why I already called her?" Sam asked confused.

"That doesn't mean she can't lie to you sam" I said yanking my truck door open. "Apparently she's a lying bitch, not to be trusted." I finished hopping in and backing out.

I followed Sam a few blocks down the road to Kate's house. When we got there I didn't hesitate to bang on the door with the side of my fist.

"Um can we help you?" a woman who's face looked sculpted by a surgeon asked in a sweet tone.

"Are you Kate's mom" I asked a little too eagerly.

"Yes, can I ask what your here for" she said.

I rolled my eyes at her falseness and pushed past her.

"Hey this isn't your house little miss" she yelled running after me.

I jogged up the stairs slamming open every door I passed until I found Kate's.

And there she was "reading" a book.

How to kill a mocking bird to be precise. Which is way out of the ordinary for Kate.

"Um why are you here?" she asked bitchely.

"Cut the shit Kate. Where's Kian?" I said slacking my jaw.

"I don't know what you are talking about." she said standing up. "did he finally get tired of you" she smirked

"One we weren't together and two Lear to keep your damn mouth shut." I shouted

"Nice girls don't curse or raise their Voice." she laughed.

"Guess I'm not nice" I retorted lunging at her.

I clung on to her shoulders, slamming her to the floor. Grabbing a fist full of her poorly dyed hair an bring her face to my level I said. "Tell me where Kian is now"

"I told you I don't know" she said spitting on my face after.

I slapped her at hard as possible and walked out of the house speeding away before they could get my license plate.

Sam and I decided to go back to their house to plan. When I hopped out of my truck I heard a loud crash and a scream.

Jogging to the front door I noticed it was open. I stepped inside to see a bloody Kian and a boy probably Kian and Sams age in all black.

"Kian.." I whispered

r-u-n he mouthed

I shook my head stepping further into the living room. He tried to grab me but I pulled away and walked towards the noise. Stepping on a piece of glass, it cracked and drew the boys attention.

"Shit" I muttered looking into the boys eyes.

His got wide as he ran past me and out into the street. I started to jog looking as if I was careless. Once I got up to pace, I began to sprint feeling the numbness envelop my body as my back straightened and my stride widened. with each stride my legs took I got closer and closer to the quickly tiring teen.

Lunging, for the 2nd time today, I jumped onto his back, slamming the both of us into the road with a thud.
I rolled off his back, making sure I had a tight grip on his shirt incase he ran..
