Ch 12 Sober

Kylees POV

I woke up in Kian's bed.

Then I remembered what I did.

Waddling down the stairs I saw Kian and jc in the kitchen.

"Hey guys" I said

"Kylee where did you get the weed?" Kian asked straight forward.

"Kyle why does it matter." I stated

"We were just wondering since we've never seen you smoke." he said

"That's only my third time. I needed to let go it's not like I'm addicted." I said

"Just be careful please" Kian said.

I scowled at him as he left.

I just sat there for a few minutes until I felt energetic enough to get up.

Once I did, I sat down at Kian's desk and turned on his computer.

Logging into my email I saw I had an email from Stanford University.

First I was a little dazed, not really sure why I got an email from them, but then I remembered that I had applied for the college as a junior.

I quickly opened the email just to scream because it was an acceptance letter.

Quickly jumping up and yanking open the door, I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"I GOT IN!" I screamed over and over

"got into what?" Everyone asked.

"STANFORD I GOT INTO STANFORD!" I screamed

Everyone's jaws dropped.

"Oh my god that's amazing!" Connor said.

All the guys were hugging me and smiling except Kian.

He turned away and walked up to his room.

I followed.

"Kian what's wrong?" I asked closing his door behind me.

"If you start college what about me? What about us?" He said.

Those last three words ringing in my head.

What about us?

"Kian I can take online classes if I need to" I said trying to come up with everything I can to keep him happy.

"I don't know Kylee. I think I need a little while to think." He said

"Kian, I'm not understanding. I'm your girlfriend why aren't you telling me the full story. I can't fix it if I don't know what's wrong." I said beginning to get annoyed.

"Kylee I said I needed time!" He yelled.

"Whatever Kian." I mumbled as I left the room slamming the door behind me.

Trudging down the stairs I grabbed my keys and went for a drive.

Rolling down the windows, I plugged my phone in and listened to every single song by the Bad Things.

I started to drive, making my way down the coast of California.

Once I had cooled off enough to go home, it was 7:00 and the sun was setting.

Pulling in the drive way, I walked in and threw my keys down on the table and waddled to the kitchen.

All the guys except Kian were eating pizza.

"Yo" I said snatching a slice from the box.

"Hey" they all replied.

Everything was silent until I opened my mouth to speak but JC beat me to it.

"He's still up there probably sleeping." He said referring to Kian.

I said thank you and slowly made my way up to Kian's room.

When I got there he was listening to music with the lights off but the sun was up a little so I could barley see.

Feeling my way to his closet, I slipped off my shorts and tee, and slipped on one of his cat shirts that was way too big on me.

Once again feeling my way through his room and to his bed, I lifted the covers and climbed in, quickly snuggling up to him.

"I'm sorry." was the first thing he said.

"I was scared and I still am. I just don't want you to meet someone else in college." he mumbled into my hair.

"Kian it's fine I'll just take online classes." I answered.

"I love you." was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.
