Ch 19

Kian's pov

Kate grabbed Kylee's limp arm and dragged her away from me and into the hall.

"Kian consider her gone okay." she said stroking my hair.

"You're fucking insane." I growled at her.

"DAN. I THINK THE GIRL NEEDS MORE PUNISHMENT!" she screamed as the large man walked in with Kylee slung over his shoulder.

I watched with hallow teared eyes as he laid her on the metal table in the center of the room and beat her.

"STOP"

"STOP IT"

"PLEASE"

I kept screaming and begging.

They beat her for about 20 minutes and then stopped.

Kate and Dan had left the room and locked the door.

I heard what sounded like a car start and drive away.

Quietly I took one of the metal chair from the corner and propped it under the door handle so no one could get in.

I stood up and looked around.

This seemed to be the master bedroom of the house and it had a master bath.

Walking into the bathroom I looked around and spotted a window.

I knew where we were!

We were a few neighbor hoods down and there was a hospital less than a mile away from here!

I checked the drive way from the window and didn't see a car or a person.

Walking back into the bedroom I picked up Kylee and climbed out the window.

It hurt me. Bad. And it was complicated but I managed.

Looking around I went to the neighbors house who answered their door and after hearing my story gave us a ride to the hospital.

We did it.

We made it out.

Kylees POV

When I woke up I was blinded by some blurry lights.

Looking around everything was doubled and moving.

Slowly my vision restored and I realized I was in a hospital.

I don't remember anything at the moment.

There was a remote by my side with a nurses button on it.

I pressed it and about two minutes late a woman with short blonde hair and pink scrubs came to my side.

"Hi did you need something?" she asked sweetly

"Oh um yes. Can you tell me why I'm here?" I asked smiling.

"Oh I would but maybe it's better your boyfriend told you. hold on" she smiled while stepping into the hall.

Boyfriend?

Kian!

Soon Kian was rolled in by the nurse in her wheel chair.

I smiled and the nurse said she'd leave us alone and to page her when we needed something.

"Kian what happened to us?"

"Kylee look I love you so much but I really don't think I should tell you until we get home. I just don't know how you'll react that's all." he cooed holding my hand and smiling.

"That's fine. We're going to be okay thought right?" I asked with worry plastered on my face.

"I think so." he said looking down. "Physically at least"
