A large, bird like creature knocks Advoll back, startling the rabbit. The feathery fiend was almost the size of Dianna herself, its eyes full of rage. The bird flies into the apartment and immediately began squawking and flying, knocking anything over that its wings touched.
"G-get it out!" Dianna yells as she runs over and kicks the bird.
"Say the name you gave me!" He yells as he punches it in the head, giving almost no effect as it throws him off.
"A-Advoll?!" She stutters, unsure of what the demon had meant.
"The other one!" He says as he catches a glass that falls from the cabinet. Dianna had no idea what other name he could have, but she had to think of something. Suddenly, it clicked.
"M-Miracle!" She says. Her eyes where suddenly enveloped in darkness, then with blinding light. When her vision adjusted, she was in what felt like a different environment, but it wasn't. The girl was still in her kitchen, but everything seemed bigger somehow. As if someone shrunk her down and then put her back into her apartment. The silverware falling from the cabinets and cups about to hit the ground lay still as if it were on string, perfectly still like an art piece.
She looked and saw the same black and grey rabbit; however, the bunny rabbit didn't exactly look like a normal one. It stood on his long, humanoid-like legs with claws coming from its paws. The creature's ears where long enough that they dragged on the floor and looked to be made of corse, hard material like bone. Its face was pushed in and two large teeth spring from its bottom jaw, curving upwards and ending just below the demon's blue, glowing eyes.
"A... Advoll?" Dianna called out. The rabbit roared at the large bird, now being able to get a better look at it.
It was completely black with purple at the end of each feather. Its beak was large and jagged, appearing broken and disfigured in places. Its eyes were the color of the darkness, and its feet where large enough to grab a cow at the very least. Sharp talons where at the end, each as deadly as a samurai's strike from his katana.
"Tell me what to do. I can fight it or you can try and catch it." A voice says in her head. It was Advoll's, slightly distorted however.
"J-just get rid of it!" She begs, looking concerned at what could become of her apartment. The bird screeches aggressively and flies towards her quickly. She turns and gasps, holding onto herself to try and not get grabbed. Advoll jumps up in his monstrous state and uses one of his oversized ears to smack the bird out of the sky and make it fall onto the tile.
A loud crack echoed through the battlefield and Dianna gasps. "Please tell me that this isn't real!" She cries out loud as the bird gets up and attacks Advoll. He chuckled softly and jumped onto the bird, punching and clawing at its eyes until it crashed into a cup and shattered it.
"Well, once this is over everything will resume. Any damage done here will be reversed." Advoll says in Dianna's head. She ran to the two monstrous demons, both trying to land a fatal blow on the other.
"W-wait! Stop, don't kill it!" She pleaded, clasping her hands together. Advoll used one of his sharp and long teeth to dig under its neck and ripped out a cluster of feathers. He looked at her and lept to her side, snarling loudly at the bird who struggled to stand.
"Why not? Do you want to catch it?" He asked, hopping a little off the ground in case if the bird attacked.
"I'll take that, thank you very much!" A woman's voice calls. They turn and look at an overly fluffy Cerberus and it's owner, a tall black lady with long, braided hair. She took out what looks to be a ball and threw it at the bird. It was all black and had a single white stripe along its diameter. It hit the bird and it disappeared inside as if by magic.
"W-who are you?" She asked the lady she had never seen before.
"The name's Rachelle, I live in the complex." She says with a small smile. "By the looks of it, you just found a good old Crowgra for me."
"Crow...gra?" Dianna mumbles. She had never seen this lady; she must have lived on a different floor.
"A crow-like bird. When tamed, it looks exactly like a crow." She says with pride.
"Oh, you collect those things?" The curious girl asked. "How does that even work?"
With a chuckle, everything returned to normal. A couple loud crashes startled the two females and Dianna let out a groan. Advoll was on top of the counter and looked around with his blue eyes.
"It's quite complicated to say, its better to show ya'." Rachelle says with a kind laugh. "I'll help you clean since I sort of cause this to happen. What's your name, doll?"
"Dianna, I'm a high school student." She says as she gets a broom. Dianna took a look at the woman. She had dark skin and long, braids for hair. Rachelle was easily at least five foot five because of her expensive and nice looking tan heals that looked a little like combat boots. She wore a vest with no sleeves and jeans with holes in them where her legs popped out slightly because of how thick and curvy she was. Her eyes looked like the sun, bright and a golden color and her lips were full and plump.
Dianna saw her dog next to her, a small black and white Pomeranian. It had stubby legs and a face full of fluff; its eyes where golden, bright and shiny. The two looked like the perfect duo.
"Well, this is a nice little place." Daisha said as she swept, snapping Dianna from her thoughts.
"Is... that the dog from before?" Dianna asked curiously. Advoll hopped down into her arms, then jumped out and began adventuring through her apartment once more. The Pomeranian followed out of curiosity and Rachelle nodded.
"His name's Giorgio," she says with a small sigh. "and he's definitely a handful. He's always eating food or sleeping and he somehow isn't a pudgy little thing."
Dianna laughed softly at this and help dispose of the glass shards, making sure that there wasn't any glass left. "How long have you had him?" She questions, wanting to know more about the lady.
"About two years actually. How long until you finish high school?" She asked as a reply.
"A week or so, then I have to get a job or something since the majority of my mom's money will go to rent." She says with a sigh. Dianna had no job. Her mother was in jail for being behind the wheel and crashing into a car, injuring everyone inside. Although her mother wasn't rich, she did have around half a million saved up in a bank account should anything happen to her.
"I can get you a job. Since I'll teach you how to catch demons and angels, I can have you join a system. You basically catch them and you can sell them to people. Since there's thousands of types, people pay a pretty penny for them." Rachelle explains. "And I'm sure that that rabbit is your only one?"
"Yeah, I've only had him for an hour or so." Dianna says with a small smile. "Is he rare or something?"
"What, do you think that you're the main character in a book? He isn't that rare, nor common. It's hard to find a Ropthis, especially one with such a pattern." Rachelle says as she leaned against her counter.
"Ah. I have a feeling that we're gonna be good friends then. Can you stop by tomorrow and teach me how to catch these things? I'm sure that I'll need it in case if another pops up." Dianna says with a small smile.
"Is the afternoon okay with you? I know how much teens value sleep, hell, I sleep more than a bear in the winter!" She jokes.
"Of course, that's perfect." Dianna says with a kind smile. "I'll see you then."
"You too. Giorgio, let's go. I still need to pack things for the trip." Rachelle says as she walked to Dianna's front door. The Pomeranian runs from the hallway, the same black and grey rabbit chasing him and squeaking loudly. The dog jumped into her open arms and snarled at the rabbit, barking obnoxiously at Advoll.
"Be nice! He was a guest." Dianna says as she picked up the rabbit and placed him on top of her head. Rachelle giggled and exited, waving goodbye at the two. Down the hall and stairs the lady went, making Dianna slightly sad that she had left. Maybe she can make a couple friends after all.
