Dianna quickly turned around, the monstrous rabbit that she called Advoll next to her. "Advoll, what is this?!" She asked with worry in her voice.

"Someone challenged us to a battle. We can't run away unless we both say we want to leave; but I warn you, please be careful." His voice says in her head. "She may- watch out!"

The rabbit jumped in front of her and used its oversized ears as a shield to block an attack from large talons. A white bird with golden tipped feathers and silver eyes looked at them. It was three times the size of the girl who stood in front of it, who appeared to be around five foot three.

The girl was a blonde with peach colored skin. Her hair was tied into a slicked back, high pony tail and her green eyes looked directly at Dianna with a look of cockiness. She wore a white crop top, light blue distressed shorts, a flannel tied around her waist, a black jacket tied over the flannel, and white shoes that looked new. She was clearly bad news and meant to harm someone.

Dianna thought for a second and stepped forwards, glaring daggers at her. "Why are you doing this?! We just want to have a relaxing day at the mall and you come here? Leave, my familiar and I don't want to fight!" She said to defend herself.

"Fat chance, I don't plan on leaving until all competition for Solstice is gone! I'll happily take your demons and angels and leave you here to die! Racheta, attack and shown no mercy!" The girl says with what would only be described as a psychotic laugh. The dove-like bird squawked loudly and proudly, flying towards Dianna and Advoll.

The rabbit scooped up its owner in his ears and jumped into the air to avoid the bird. It stopped, turned, and flew even faster towards them. Advoll landed on the top of its head and bounced off, looking at the creature cautiously.

"Send me into battle so we can get this over with; all I want to do is get my new clothes and be in my way." His voice snarled in Dianna's thoughts.

"Advoll, be careful, I don't want either of us to get hurt. Attack back, but don't let your guard down!" She warns. Advoll placed her on the ground and jumped to attack the bird in the sky.

The girl was suddenly in front of Dianna and pulled her fist back, almost striking her in the face. Having watched anime and played video games, Dianna had a slight advantage for reflexes and strategies. The girl, however, was clearly physically stronger.

She ran towards her once more, trying to punch Dianna. "Why are you doing this?!" The pale girl asked as she dodged a punch from the blonde girl once more.

"I want your demon and to show that I'm ready to face the Solstices! I need to have that power; I need to prove myself!" The girl growls. Dianna grit her teeth in frustration. How could someone with an angel be so greedy, so power hungry? Ironically, she had an angel, one of God's creations that reflect purity and selflessness, not be corrupted and greedy. She was not qualified to own one. Not now, not ever.

Dianna pulled back her leg and kicked the girl in the shin with such force, she heard a sharp snap. Looks like soccer paid off. The bird in the sky and the girl both screeched in pain and Dianna straddled her attacker, punching her in the face twice before standing and spitting on the ground next to her.

"Racheta, now!" The girl said through the pain. Dianna felt a sharp, numbing pain in her abdomen and looked down shakily. Her clothes and skin where staining crimson and her body growing weaker as it stood.

"A-Advoll?" She barely wheezed out. The rabbit snarled and jumped up, biting deeply into the bird's neck until it heard a snap. The bird collapsed and lay there breathing hard. Then, he turned the attention to her owner. He stalked over and grabbed her with his ears, throwing her up in the air and scratching her as deeply as he could with his dangerously sharp claws. The rabbit and thrown her so hard, her body flew and slammed into a wall, splattering like a bug. She fell and was more than dead. He body was beyond recognition, past her insides and couple items that lay in the gore. She hardly even looked like the same person.

Advoll turned his attention to Dianna, who lay on her side with her hair sticking up and her breathing slowing. He rushed over and curled up next to her and the angel bird who seemed to be alive by a thread.

"You'll be okay, just breathe." He says as he puts his head against her's. Advoll wrapped his ears around her and made sure to focus on the wound. Dianna let out a sigh of relief and felt what could be described as gentle tickling on her abdomen. She looked down as saw the large gash completely gone.

"But how?" She asked in shock, looking at him in a shocked expression.

"Eh, I have my ways." He says in Diann's thoughts as he looks at the bird who still lay there. "We can't capture it since we don't have any balls, I have to kill it."

"Can't we just take her's and use her symbol? She is dead after all." Dianna says as she cringed at the words that come from her mouth.

"Yes, but it would erase all memories of her from this world. She appears to have only one demon and or angel, so we can look through her items." He says as he hopped over to her corpse.

Dianna followed and cringed at seeing such a gory sight. She picked up her bag and began looking through, finding a phone, keys, a wallet, and multiple black and white balls. She poked one and Advoll nudged it out of her hands and it seemed to crack.

Out from the black ball came a wolf-like creature with two tails and blazing red eyes. It's fur was jet black and had white claws with shiny, sharp teeth that appeared to go on forever within its jaws. It looked at them and whined, looking at its deceased master.

"H-hi there. Are there any more of you?" Dianna asked worriedly. The canine nodded and the bird whined softly and looked at her with fear and pain in her eyes. "Other than you two?"

"Appears not. The two won't forget her, but might be more resentful towards you. Are you prepared for that?" Advoll asked as he looked towards his human.

She had two choices: either kill these two innocent creatures or keep them alive, but erase every memory and trace of the girl who attacked her. Not a single family member, friend, anyone who she knew or saw would have any recollection of her.

"I..." she said with a pause. Was she going to need time to think? No, she knew her answer.
