Two months had passed and life has been the same with Eunbin. She never finished her still live painting, she put it at the far corner of her flat. Her graduation project was almost complete. It took another month  to finish it completely, so that she could graduate in fall.

Yeeun was going out with the guy she met whom she claimed was an idol trainee. Every now and then she would whine at Eunbin how her life would be like if he ever debuted. Then Eunbin would just laugh at her, reacting on how her life would be any different since her love life was not as lovey dovey as Yeeun's. Her realtionship with Inhae was still the same as before, nothing had improved, or at least something she wished had improved.

She spent her Sunday at home, doing a drama marathon and had a chicken and beer delivery. Her marathon was disturbed by a voice outside her flat.

Her eyes lit up. 'Is it Youjin?'

She quickly went outside and to her disappointment she saw the landlady.

"He hasn't been home, has he? Judging by your reaction." She asked Eunbin.

Eunbin scratched her forehead and nodded. "Yeah..." She noticed the landlady put a pile of mails in front of his door. "Are those rent notices?"

"These are useless. He has paid his rent for six months." She sighed. "I mean, someone wanted to rent my place and I thought I could place him in Youjin's flat since he's not around. But instead, he paid in advance right after I called him."

"You called him?"

"Yes. He sounds fine. I thought he was sick or something." She pulled something from her pocket. A piece of paper that looked like a list. She read it carefully. "Are you going to move soon?"

"After I graduate, yes. If it's going well I'm going to graduate within four months."

"Okay. Then I can put your space on the next term for rent." She put the paper back into her pocket. "I'll excuse myself. Enjoy your Sunday, miss."

She walked down the stairs and left Eunbin stood in front of her door. The thought of moving from this place made her sad. Especially when she didn't have the chance to meet Youjin again before she moved.

[Monday night]

Eunbin worked hard to finish her final artwork in the studio. It took longer than usual to find the perfect colour for one of the shades and she wanted to create different textures. That being said, she didn't realise it was already late. Lately she always brought Youjin's jacket and acted like someone was picking her up so she didn't get bothered at the street when walking alone. It worked all the time. Inhae did lend her his jackets at times, but he would take it back when he went home since he couldn't stand cold or winds. His health was a bit poor since he smoked.

By 11 pm sharp she finally started to clean up. After putting back oil cans, washed the brushes and put them on the rack to dry, she put on Youjin's jacket and brought her bag. She decided to walk from the front gate. It was a longer route but she wanted to get a fresh air, or another inspiration.

That night's wind was a bit colder than usual, but it had always been quiet around her campus. When she almost reached the front gate, she could see five guys were walking and shouting to each other. They were drunk. Eunbin held the jacket tightly and walked as fast as she could to avoid them.

One of them stopped and stared at Eunbin. More likely to the jacket she was wearing.

"I thought there's only one jacket. It's Youjin's jacket, isn't it?" One of them said half awake. "Even in my drunken state I know that's Youjin's jacket. Why is that girl wearing his jacket?"

"The rain fell, so you don't have to worry." /Youjin/Where stories live. Discover now
