"Fine, I'll see you tomorrow then... Okay, I will share the pizza with her.... Sure, thanks again." Inhae hung up. He just finished his work after, having meeting sessions about record sales for hours. He walked around the place with a homemade pizza in his hand and realised it was near Eunbin's campus. He was a bit thirsty so he tried to find a nearby convenience store. The quiet night was disturbed by loud voices of drunk men. Inhae was worried about Eunbin so he texted her.
Inhae: 'I have pizza and I happen to be near the campus. Do you want to eat it w...'
He stopped texting when he believed he just saw Eunbin, with the bag he knew it was hers. He was having second thought since a guy was taking her away. But his feet dragged him to keep following the girl whom he believed was Eunbin.
He erased his text he was about to send and slid his phone into his jeans pocket. The girl and the tall guy stopped in front of a convenience store. He knew the guy.
"So it really is Eunbin!" He said to himself. He looked for a crossing lane while still checking at Eunbin. The light was red and he waited.
The walking sign was finally on. Inhae walked forward a step and stopped his body.
He saw Youjin kissed Eunbin's forehead.
He didn't cross the street. Instead, he moved back to the pedestrian and leaned his body on one of the building front. He took out his phone from his pocket and called Eunbin.
"...where are you?.... It's already late. How do you get home at this hour? .... I'm near your campus, meet me at the store. We can go home together. I'll take you home." He called her while staring at Youjin from across the street, who was now and then shifting his gaze to Eunbin and her phone.
He waited for the crossing light again and finally walked across this time.
Inhae approached them. He swallowed his emotion and started talking.
"Eunbin-ah!" Inhae smiled at her. She waved her hands. He pretended he just saw Youjin, and noticing Eunbin's jacket. "Ah! So you're here too! I have pizza to share with."
Youjin nodded at Inhae. "Ah yes. I'm going now, I have to go." He stood up but his shoulders were held by Inhae. He was startled. So was Eunbin.
"Oppa...,"
"Can't I sit with you? Last time you ran away too." He placed the pizza on Youjin's lap and walked closer to Eunbin. He took her hand. "Help me choose something to drink. Let's go inside."
Eunbin just chuckled and stood up, letting Inhae took her hand. "Okay~~"
Both went inside leaving Youjin alone in front of the store. He stared at the pizza box. The strong scent made him wanted to open the box. He was a bit hungry that his hand unconsciously opened the box.
But something inside the pizza box made him furrowed his eyebrows.
Eunbin and Inhae finally came back to sit with Youjin. She noticed he had something in his hand.
"What is that, in your hand?" She asked. Inhae sat next to her and opened his cola can.
Youjin showed her what was in his hand. Sliced black olives.
"These were in the pizza. You don't eat olives, right?" He put the olives on the side of the pizza. "Here, so you can eat it comfortably. You know you always throw these olives away."
Eunbin was amazed. "You really have nothing to do besides checking trashes, don't you?" She took a slice and bit one small bite. "Anyway, thanks!"
Inhae pretended he didn't hear their conversations. He put a little sad smile and sipped his cola again.
