The weather was getting colder as it was almost winter. Eunbin and Youjin sat on the bench by tree, the same bench when he introduced himself as her neighbour. They sat awkwardly next to each other.

"About last week, when I was drunk..." Youjin started talking, "...sorry."

Eunbin just nodded. "It's fine. You did the same to me when we first met."

"Then we're even now." He chuckled awkwardly. It was silence again then Youjin tapped his knees with both hands. "Well, I have something to say."

Eunbin fidgeted her fingers. "Okay."

"I will answer everything. Ask me. Ten questions."

She lifted her head and faced him with enlarged eyes. "That's what you're going to say?"

He nodded and smile. "You seem surprised." He tapped her head lightly. Eunbin usually felt disturbed with his weird habit, but after Yeeun's word, instead of disturbed she was blushed.

Eunbin calmed her cheeks and her heart. She inhaled deeply and sighed. "Okay. My first question." She showed one finger. "Where did you go?"

"My house since I was little. Next question."

She was pissed by his answer but showed two fingers. "Second. Why did you leave?"

"I believe you have asked my friends. And I have lots of work to be done. Next."

"Third. Why do you want to do that?"

He hesitated at first but eventually calmed himself. "It's my family, I should help. Next."

She sighed. "Fourth. How did you know I was in that park?"

His eyes were shaking a bit but he calmly answered. "I didn't. I just ran to every parks nearby. Next." He nuzzled his nose out of embarrassment.

Eunbin was surprised. "You did? But why?"

"That was fifth and sixth question. Yes I did and well, I have nothing better to do. Next."

"But Inseong said you five were going out and them four were waiting for you."

"It's not a question. You're done asking? I thought there were a lot to be asked." He sulked.

"I do have another to be asked." She said. "How did you know I was by the front gate that night?"

Youjin was silenced. He stared at Eunbin noticing she was wearing his jacket. He came closer to her.

"What are you doing??"

"Sit still." His hand was holding her shoulder so she didn't move excessively. His other hand was sneaking out to the collar of the jacket. Her face was so close to him that it made him heart beating so fast, but he had something in mind.

He took something from the inside of the collar. A round foreign object Eunbin had never seen but she could guess what it was.

"Is that...?"

"Hm. It's a tracker." He put it inside his pocket. "Originally it was meant to track me. But..."

"You've been tracking me all of these months?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I was waiting for you that night at the store, but the rain poured so hard you didn't even see me. I can't reply your texts, I can't meet you, so at least I should know where you at. That's why I gave you the jacket and ran away. I'm sorry."

"Is there something to be sorry for?" She looked at him. "You've done enough and I can't even pay you back. I'm the one who should be sorry."

"I don't..." Her phone rang.

"The rain fell, so you don't have to worry." /Youjin/Where stories live. Discover now
