Revelli PoV:
He leans down, wrapping his arms underneath my kneecaps and hoisting me up into his muscled arms and holding me close to his chest. His breathing calm, yet below that calm exterior... I know my words have angered him in a way I've never seen.
Yet I speak the truth... He just doesn't want to believe me.
I stay silent as he sets me down on the edge of our bed. The mattress springing me up slightly from the sudden weight of my body. Rogue leaves my side, my ears twitching at the sigh. It was more of a deep grumble. He closes the screen door, followed by the curtains. His departure giving me a chance to look around the room that's been finished... Completed.
By Rogue... Frosche or the guild I do not know.
The walls a dry, beautiful red, the silver edges standing out and giving a contrasting feel along with a slight tinge of coldness against the warm red. Canvases held on the walls... Three canvases that I thought I'd never actually see. Large and painted, the one on the left Violet and Frosche. Myself and Rogue on the right, then in the middle... The four of us.
The cabinets have been placed and filled, with mirrors on top along with a range of different items. Curtains have been hung, a rug has been unrolled over the wooden floorboards and a bookcase filled to the brim.
My eyes trail over the four prints of two paws and two hands that's been left clear. Even some childish drawings around it from both exceeds. A scraping noise catches my attention as my gaze turns to Rogue as he pulls open the drawers pulling out an assortment of clothing.
My clothing...
A few minutes pass, silence still encasing us as he finally turns back towards me soon crouching in front. "What are you doing...?" I murmur, watching as he slowly rips the rags I'm wearing even more before pulling them off and chucking them behind him into heaps on the ground.
Not once does he forcefully tug or prick my skin with the sharp claws and edges. His movements slow, his fingers gracing against mine until I'm left in nothing but undergarments. "If you're not going to change out of these rags... I'll do it for you." He replied, leaving no room for discussion.
My toes curl into the rug at the softness of his tone. My cheeks still sticky from the tears. "You don't have to do this... Rogue..." As the words leave my lips, his fingers stop their trail from sliding my arms into the sleeves of an old, black bralett.
Standing up, he continues pulling the sleeves up, then gently pulling my head through its gap in the material. My skin tingling from the sudden eloped warmth in certain areas, the ribbon sleeves clasped around my wrists. He pulls my hair out from down my back.
"Revelli. I'm not going to allow you to push yourself into the ground. No matter what." He grabs the knee-length skirt that he had grabbed from the drawers and gently slides it under my feet.
"We're comrades. Lovers. I won't let you think that you've done something wrong. Violet won't blame you. Sting won't blame you, nor does Frosche or Lector. The guild won't blame you. Hate you, be disgusted with you. Fiore won't either. I most certainly won't."
I feel my body shake. My body leaning into his as he hoists me up slightly tightening the skirt around my waist, a belt sliding around to cover the tightening band. "Rogue... Do you promise?" I ask softly, locking eyes with him for the first time as he stays crouched down in front of me.
His hands rose as he cups my cheeks, his stoic face turning into a softened expression. "I'll never be disgusted with you." Without giving him warning I lean down and press my lips against his. His arms pushing me back onto my back against the plumped duvet.
